Well, the 2026 NFL season is finally here.

We have practically a new coaching staff. Two new QB's, free agent signings, draft picks.

Do we have something to look forward to this season?

What is it going to take to get a win over Miami?

And that’s a wrap!!!

This was a defensive win as much as an offensive win. Great display of complimentary football. I’m impressed..Cousins has to get in the film room..just drop those passes to Mayer or Jeanty ..no need to force it down field when you’re up by two scores and defense is playing well.

Why didn't the safety count? If it did it would be an exclamation point to defense performance today.

Sure it was the dolphins. Some mistakes to clean up but as I noted up thread: they looked competent, well coached and playing hard.

Team looks well coached

Oline looks competent

WR group is still not good. Your HB shouldn’t be featured in your passing game.

Need to clean up the turnovers

But Rome wasn’t built in a day so I expect the team to improve as the season goes on. Hopefully at least.

Can only beat whats in front of you. Made some mistakes but looked solid and competent. Well enjoy a few more wins this year for sure and I'm looking forward to the ride.

I am trying to stay grounded. I chugged the kool aid after last year's week one win in New England.

However...

I saw a team that fought hard for four quarters and looked like they were having fun doing it.
I saw a team that stayed composed despite Cousin's mind melting interceptions.
Kubiak has a little Tim Flores in him, he is a cool cat.
Jeanty was the focal point and Kubiak's ball distribution to Jeanty was outstanding. I love the commitment to the running game. Washington also had a few nice runs as well.

I think this team can compete and had they cleaned a few gaffs with Cousin's picks this would have been a blowout.

It's a win! Cousins looked good early, pulled a Geno late. Dolphins, probably one of the worst teams in the league couldn't cash in. O line looked good, running game looked good. D will need to be better against the Chargers, secondary looked shaky. 1-0 is a step in the right direction

Looked good. It's the Dolphins so we'll see what happens when they don't play a JV squad. Cousins' ints were shit but it's nice to see the D pick them up with 2 turnovers of their own.

Offensive line looks to be the biggest improvement from last season.
