Dolphins vs Raiders In-Game Thread Week #1

Unread post by Rick In Bakersfield »

Well, the 2026 NFL season is finally here.

We have practically a new coaching staff. Two new QB's, free agent signings, draft picks.

Do we have something to look forward to this season?

What is it going to take to get a win over Miami?

Offensive line has looked great so far. Now Kubiak is calling a game to help them. Contrast to last year when Geno had 18 step drop plays called (exaggeration but the play calling last year was terrible

What happened to all the visiting team fans? I guess the Miami fans have already given up on the season and coming to Vegas for a few days has become expensive.

Cousins TD pass to Jeanty perfect in all respects. The TD to Bech as also very nice.

Finding the end zone instead of settling for field goals is an encouraging start

Looking great so far, besides that missed coverage on the 3rd and long, so far its going like it should go for us. No nail biting so far.

No penalties and no wasted timeouts in the first half?
People asked my expectations for this season and I said, “look like a competent, pro football team.”

Solid start.

Exactly. We still need to temper expectations as we do not have a current team talent level capable of competing for tje playoffs but looking like a competent nfl team who can win some games and compete game in and game out
