I got a feeling Washington may end up being RB1 at some point this season.

i think the comparison of walker/charbs apply...we may start the season 75/25 but by the eoy we may be at 60/40 "washington looks explosive and can excel in all three phases "running, catching and blocking" and you cant teach 4.3 speed with that sizeRabidraider wrote: Sat Aug 22, 2026 7:17 am I got a feeling Washington may end up being RB1 at some point this season.

I'd be surprised if that happens. I just don't see him as better than Jeanty. I guess we'll see.Rabidraider wrote: Sat Aug 22, 2026 7:17 am I got a feeling Washington may end up being RB1 at some point this season.

I think Jeanty surprises some people. He was so good in college and even last year had good yards after contact. He will be great if we can block for him.

If (I know its EARLY) Washington becomes who we think he can, we may have the best 1-2 at two different skill positions (TE and RB). Add to that our potential franchise QB, and we should all be rubbing one out. Don't get down because of a silly pre season game. St. Fernando is going to be that guy. The Chef is also not done cooking. Next years draft is loaded with WR's.

Laughable. If this was any other wr room in the league, we'd be laughing at themKillerRaider30 wrote: Sat Aug 22, 2026 10:17 am Lets be honest and I know you all are.

I agree with you and we all know Kubiak can "scheme" guys open sure, but wouldn't it be best to scheme open a stud.Hellbound wrote: Sat Aug 22, 2026 10:31 am Laughable. If this was any other wr room in the league, we'd be laughing at them
And we know the Brock is a pass catcher 1. Yes. But again still, wouldn't it be best to have a WR1?
Kubiak was not happy with the room at the Texans pressor. Said they took a step back and is looking for someone to take accountability on game day ASAP.
Sounds like he's much aware and with 4M in cap available i dont know.
I guess its wait to see.

After a few regular season games we should have a much better understanding of this Raider squad.
Hell, our 4 best players have seen little to no action thus far.

we could have eliminated the wr position in a trade for aj brown (picks) and adding keenan allan/deebo for 2 yrs,we could have signed steph diggs and added either allan and deebo and upgraded the worst wr room in footballRunOverByHubbard wrote: Sat Aug 22, 2026 11:23 am Rome wasn’t built in a day. sure kubiak can scheme open wrs, he did vs the texans only to watch malik drop 2 wide open passes for 1st downs ...one killing a scoring drive...wr is a PREMIUM position for a reason buffalo and new england could have won super bowls if they had a wr1 last yr both teams paid and traded for wr1's this seasonKillerRaider30 wrote: Sat Aug 22, 2026 10:46 am I agree with you and we all know Kubiak can "scheme" guys open sure, but wouldn't it be best to scheme open a stud.
