I'll not give spoilers for our team. It's a fun article. Check it out.

Crosby and Mack on the ends of the D line, that would have been a helluva lot of fun to watch

Still can't believe they thought dealing Mack was a good idea.

Yeah, him and/or our GM at the time I think.

Gruden was a terrible drafter; he got a lot for Mack and if his draft picks work out and the players he drafted turned out to be stars; then we be saying that it was a great idea….but that did not happen…

The idea was sound. Mack was on a roster with one great player (him) and 10 mid to low tier clowns. It was going to take a few years to acquire enough personnel to improve that side of the ball and Mack would've rotted here in the meantime. But like you said, Gruden botched the opportunity, so it all turned out to be for the worse.

Officially, Reggie the Clown was our GM at the time.

He also had several blunders like not re-signing Desmond Bryant, trading Amari Cooper, and of course all the draft BUSTS this clown had like DJ Hayden, Menelik Watson, Jihad ward, etc etc etc

Reggie was the GM when Gruden was hired; but the massive contract Mr Davis gave Gruden pretty much mean that Gruden was in charge of everything and I don’t think Reggie had any say in anything while he was working with Gruden….
Basically they just paid Reggie to sit in his office every day and do nothing….

I'd rather have an already proven defensive stud like Mack than draft picks who have yet to prove anything.
