You have a 3 year old?!? Damn, I remember being young but it’s long ago at this point. I have grandkids in college and tell my wife I have rocks buried in the yard that are younger than me.

He said, Friday was a heavy workload and Saturday he was getting mental reps. What the hell does that mean.
Its like tapping out.
Im keeping my ears open on this guy.

On another note he said, all I have to do is....
When I hear a person say that it means to me he's saying, he has to be this or that.
Worse is when they say, all I have to is BEGIN to START to.....

And Crawford began sentances with that like 3 times.
I don’t see a world where Maxx lets him slack. Like ever.

Now the Raiders have the players to go into nickel and dime. They'll have DBs flying all over the place. Its something I thought they struggled with last year.

There were a few people aside from Mendoza who were part of Indiana's success last year that I liked, including "Google me".

This was my thought when seeing posts arguing over Maxx mentoring/leading Mendoza.

Maxx leads by example, and when or if there is a deeper or more “hands-on” level of mentorship, for Maxx it should be for the D. Especially for a young’n like Crawford.

Maxx is a great self-motivator, not a trait Mendoza lacks. If we are to hope for who’s voice is in who’s ear, better that in Mendoza’s ear is a vet QB or O-Coach.

And to be honest, it seems silly to even write this, but we get weird “stan” behaviors occasionally.

Could be a muscle acting up and don't want to chance it.
If it's because lazy, we'll know this very soon.

I seriously doubt the guy is lazy. This staff wouldn't have wasted a pick on a lazy player. Too much being made of this, IMO.

Possibly. But unfortunately, once a player gets to the NFL, all bets are off. See Jamarcus. And it wouldn't be the staff's fault. What is the staff's fault (IMO) was that Crawford wasn't a very good pick considering who was on the board.

When has Maxx ever made anyone around him a better player? If anything they play worse when around him because he sucks all the oxygen out of the room. The last genuine leader we had on defense was Robert Spillane, everyone else was either anointed by the management or self anointed. Maxx isnt a leader of men.

👆 Where my assumptions are at. Dude’s all keyed up and excited to prove himself He hasn’t learned the proper nutrition to avoid post physical exertion muscle soreness.

Dudes a rook. Along with learning the position, he’ll be learning what I takes to be a “professional” in the NFL. Eat right, get right, proper pre- and post- etc. etc.

I won't disagree as far as who was still on the board. Jamarcus had red flags all over. Al just wasn't himself back then. He f[raiders_icon]cked up alot toward the end.
