Rather than 3rd and 1 being an easy conversion for us, it's become a highlight for the other team's defense. Overloading the O-line with potential starters needs to be done. Extending drives means more scoring, TOP, and keeps the D off the field.
Not everything can be addressed in one offseason so the primary focus should primarily be on one thing that can be fixed. OTOH, I've said it before but it bears repeating: we don't know what we have on the O-line due to the guys we drafted last year not seeing the field. We may already have the players we need or they may be terrible. No fair assessment can be made due to lack of playing time and the worst O-line coach we've ever had (IMO).

we can also wait til after the draft to sign a few veteran players that got cut due to age...lots of these guys can still play and are bargain pickups too giving up the depth needed for a full season

The Raiders are scheduled for voluntary mini-camp today, tomorrow and Wednesday. I wonder if that will be any help before the draft Thursday.

The Raiders really need to plan for Kolton Miller replacement; Miller is still a good starting LT but he now having a harder time playing 17 game schedule because the last two season he has been playing hurt or not at all…a really good LT in the NFL like Miller is really hard to find as teams tend to hang on to their LT with big contracts….Grant might be a good replacement for Miller but he really got no playing time last season so nobody really knows if he is the guy…

I had to look to find the Jeanty thread. He is looking like a beast so far this offseason. He was putting in tons of work, I think hes going to really put up some big numbers this season. I bet he will be a top 5 rusher this season, maybe the leading rusher depending on how much he is used. Even look at the video in the original post, he is way more ripped, faster, and stronger now.
I linked this video before in the training camp thread, it must have gotten buried in tweets pretty quickly because Jeanty looks like a literal monster now.

Jeanty is going to have a great year 2. I can feel it, and can't wait.

He's yet another instance of the Raiders "acquiring talented AND intelligent players"
...and as he said, "The mission is to be the best that's ever done it".

A talking head stated his weight is now 207 lbs after a nutritional off season routine and is really cut.

“While speaking with reporters on Friday morning (local time), first-year Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak suggested he hasn't yet closed the door on having Jeanty available for the Miami game.”
"Still on the mend," Kubiak said about Jeanty, per Sam Warren of The Athletic. "Still working to get him back. We got another week to assess how he's going to look going into this first game, but we're counting on him."

Would seem they are pretty confident he'll be ready week one. If not we are going into the season with only 2 RBs and one is Laube.
