2026 Draft - Raiders & all teams (April 23-25)
Obvious Mendoza #1 no consideration of trading that pick.
But who you got picks 2 - 4 thats going to help Mendoza.
#2 Raiders should be able to select WR Chris Bell or WR KC Concepcion with our early 2nd.
#3 I forget who it was, but someone here mentioned that the best pure dominant RT coming out of college could be got in the 3rd. And stated hes played his whole career at RT, and not being moved around the line.
Sounds like solid gets
Id hope the rest of the draft is building the trenches, with maybe 1 DB in there
Who else you like ?

I felt that way too. His stock was low, then sky rocketed a bit to where I thought he could go at the tale end of the 2nd but more 3rd. Then I feel it’s cooled off as of late. I think he’s late 3 to 5 at the moment. Just the feeling get from media/mocks/experts. I’m with you tho on liking him a good deal but, I’d just take those other players I mentioned over him in the 3rd. That’s why I say I’d like him in the 4th more. He definitely has the talent for 3rd round tho.mstrbass2000 wrote: Wed Apr 08, 2026 10:28 am hurst is moving up on draft boards, his tape is catching a lot of attention from a lot of experts on the wr position, so i dont 4th round is possible i have surratt and hurst as mid 3rd picks, raiders moving down to add more picks and getting one of these guys is a plus for us plus we got a shit load of 4th rd picks we could use on guards/rt/safeties
Surrat I do not want that high at all. I have 5 on him. I don’t see the separation with him at all. He’s a scrappy, dirty work, contested catch kinda guy. That’s fine. But I see him as a ceiling of a solid #3. With that as a realistic ceiling, that’s day 3 to me.

The one thing that stands out, and I know that list may not be 100% accurate and there are still visits being done but on our day 1 and 2 visits, zero offensive linemen.

I would love this. I just wish there was a path to get Blake Miller in there somehow between Mendoza and Hunter.

I was about to make this exact comment. I like most of what Klint/Spy have done this off-season, but it’s hard to make sense of this list. I am OK with looking at a few different positions, even WR which would not be my personal priority.Attyla wrote: Wed Apr 08, 2026 12:35 pm The one thing that stands out, and I know that list may not be 100% accurate and there are still visits being done but on our day 1 and 2 visits, zero offensive linemen.
But it’s very strange to omit the position which could be argued is need #1 outside of QB. I wonder if the front offices see the G, RT situation as more solidified than it appears on paper? Or if we’re looking at other ways of acquiring talent at those spots? Or maybe they’re trying to keep their cards close to their chest?
Definitely puzzling we’re not even doing diligence on the OL who could be there at 36

Do teams ever use the visits as misdirection to make other teams think they’re looking at player B over player A?
Maybe that kind of thing could be relevant for teams whose picks are very close to ours? A team below us could think a player might fall to them and won’t make a move to try get up the draft. Another team might have a pick at 40 or 70 or something and could be fooled the Raiders are looking at different players i.e. NOT an OT so they don’t try and trade up.
Am I making any sense here? This ever go on?

Spytek seems exactly the kind of guy playing all the angles with all the subterfuge. Seeing that list built for public consumption makes me even more sure we won’t leave the draft without a RT.Danchinho wrote: Wed Apr 08, 2026 3:49 pm Do teams ever use the visits as misdirection to make other teams think they’re looking at player B over player A?

Sometimes guys don't get 30 visits because the team already knows enough about them that they don't need more information - and they may plan to draft them if they're there. It's not always subterfuge, it can be as simple as needing more info on some guys and not on others.
If I'm shopping for something and there's a brand I'm not familiar with, I do more research. I might still be leaning towards buying something from the brand I already trust.

6 WR
2 OG
2 C
1 IOL

4 RB
6 Special Teams

Interesting to note???
None of those guys on that list are on any of the top 150 guys on the big boards I frequent. So it's possible that these are all later round guys and/or UDFA they are looking at.

I fail to see any connection to the Raiders or their draft.
