Free Agency thread for Raiders and league-wide
Free agency opens March 11. CBS Sports has their top 50 ranking. No Raiders on the list. I am surprised at a couple rated high - Aaron Rodgers and Daniel Jones. Lots of wide receivers

I would agree that they don't plan on Glaze being the starter at RT. I'd look for us to sign someone like Taylor Decket to move to the RT spot and then draft someone as well. I see 4-5 guys in the draft that should be on our board rounds 2 - 5, depending on how it all plays out.

Glaze is trash. We need another RT
Rasheed Walker is out there but will he take a lower salary?
Taylor Decker is a little older but he was really good for many years, fell off a little last season
Jaquan Brisker would be a great signing at FS. Pola Mao is not a FS

....or perhaps, he is deflecting from our target with our 2nd pick.....chucker wrote: Thu Mar 12, 2026 1:47 pm We'll add some players who missed out on the real money in FA. We still don't have enough guys on the roster - only 61. The next phase is likely some older guys for depth and stability on cheaper deals that can be let go if necessary. I think we need guard depth/competition, but that isn't urgent. An upgrade at RT would be great - I don't think Kubiak really believes we have "stability" at both tackle spots. Or maybe he is just saying that the roster is stable at RT because the guy who stunk there last year is still on the roster.

I'd sign Tellar to solidify the other guard spot. Rogers can be the backup guard so he doesn't have to be started and relied on right away. Then draft the best available tackle in the top of Round 2 to play RT. I'm not a fan of the FA right tackles available.

61 + 10 draft picks fills out our active roster and practice squad. So if we go into camp with 90, we still have another 20 signings between FA and UDFAs? How much cap room do we have left?chucker wrote: Thu Mar 12, 2026 1:47 pm We'll add some players who missed out on the real money in FA. We still don't have enough guys on the roster - only 61. I wouldn't worry about cap space. Players don't cost as much, net, now that the pricier phase is over. Only the top 51 count so as you sign guys now, cheaper guys fall off the list. We also don't need to have cap space for our rookies yet - and can always restructure when the time comes if needed. I would think we'll likely head to the draft with 80 players on the roster and then will have to make some cuts when we add UDFAs.Cruisin with Tooz wrote: Thu Mar 12, 2026 2:22 pm 61 + 10 draft picks fills out our active roster and practice squad. The Buffalo Bills and Las Vegas Raiders were going after the same player in free agency.
In the end, though, the $1.215 million signing chose to re-sign with the broncos

Do we have enough to still add any impact FA's. An OG, NT or FS?chucker wrote: Thu Mar 12, 2026 2:31 pm I wouldn't worry about cap space.
