If there are no void years in Linderbaum's deal then it's about a $17 million cap hit in 2026. It could end up lower if there are void years.

That's great the way it's structured. Low cap implications year 1

The Linderbaum contract is, functionally, fully guaranteed. They obviously have a massive trust level in him.

And they don't want buyer remorse

So would I.

Don't know if Vega is going to be there at 14 though.

C Tyler Linderbaum signs with Las Vegas Raiders

2025 PFF Grade: 80.2
2025 PFF WAR: 0.29
Contract: 3 years, $81 million
PFF Contract Projection: 4 years, $80 million
PFF Deal Grade: Average

The player makes this an excellent signing, but the contract raises eyebrows. Linderbaum will play on the largest per-year deal of any interior offensive lineman. He has earned PFF run-blocking grades above 80.0 in three of his four NFL seasons and is one of the best in the league in that regard. He has earned a PFF pass-blocking grade above 65.0 just once in his career, though, which is concerning since his per-year average would rank fifth among offensive tackles.

Sonny Styles is a great athlete, but a subpar football player right now. He's too reactive and not assertive enough in his efforts. Too often he will let the ball carrier come to him with momentum, and he ends up being taken for a ride. He's not dominate enough at the point of attack for my liking.

Ioane Vega should be the pick @ 14. That gives us 4 solid pieces on a 5-man unit.

He is the kind of center a rookie qb needs,

So styles will be a perennial all pro and Vega will not work here.

Probably because he doesn't have to hear how stupid he is anymore because he can't figure out line calls

Spurs Raider wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2026 11:17 am Yes it’s still an area to improve.

Perhaps we double dip on the O-Line and go Dunker 2nd round or look at someone like Markel Bell later as a day 3?

In any case, Spytek is targeting the right areas and let’s see who else we bring in prior to the draft.
Bell would be bad in a zone blocking scheme though.

Boy did we need this. One of my biggest complaints about the line is we didn’t have good enough players and nobody really stood out except for maybe our LT who was injured. And we had too many guys that were flat out struggling. We needed linemen that could really make an impact. We needed difference makers (in a positive way, not a negative way).

Now we actually added an excellent player to the line. I’m not used to that!

The voice of reason. Spot on.

They were after 25 per and no doubt with all the teams in need of a center they were going to get it. Miller, Rogers, Linderbaum, JPJ and ???

Hopefully not Glaze, maybe Grant? Braden Smith is still a FA, wonder what his number would be.
