Nailor is certainly not a sloth...and he looks somewhat jacked.

I actually like this signing and doubt we are done at addressing the receiving corps.

After day 1 of free agency my preference is a tackle unless someone unforseen falls

He played behind Jefferson and Addison. He had some great games when Addison was out.erickench wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2026 2:32 pm They gotta be kidding me!!! This guy has never reached 500 yards during his 4 years in the league. Tucker has proven more than this guy.

Nailor had some highlight catches last year and really stuck out. That being said, we're overpaying for potential alone here bc his production doesn't match the contract he's getting. But the market is what it is. I will say that these are the types of gambles that can really pay off. Plus, he's on the younger side for a WR.

Yep. I don't really have a problem with it. Kubiak obviously thinks he fits his scheme and can be successful. At least we're not signing or trading for wrs because of their names or bff is on the team. We'll be targeting scheme specific players and they might not necessarily be the biggest or top names, but they'll be the best fit for the offenseBoKnows81 wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2026 2:40 pm Nailor had some highlight catches last year and really stuck out. He already has played one half a season, in fact several, very unimpressively.RunOverByHubbard wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2026 11:40 am Our arm chair GMs have spoken — stupid signing.
Meanwhile I will wait until he has played half a season to judge.

WR Jalen Nailor signs with Las Vegas Raiders
2025 PFF Grade: 66.3
2025 PFF WAR: 0.24
Contract: 3 years, $35 million
PFF Projected Contract: 1 year, $3.5 million
PFF Deal Grade: Below Average
Nailor should infuse juice into the Raiders’ receiving corps after producing a 67.1 PFF receiving grade and dropping just one of his 49 targets. However, this is an extremely rich deal for a player who has averaged 1.18 yards per route run in his career.

I think this is going to end up being a steal and a sneaky good signing. He’s a top class n3 WR and I think he’s going to grow into that n2 WR level. We don’t need to spend 20-30 mill on WR1. We have Bowers. We need people that will help him operate and this guy does that.

Love how everyone glazes the Kubiak hire and then shits on the players he wants to bring in to run his vision.

Kubiak the head coach and his scheme's are paramount. If he's as smart as every says he is, he must have a player style he's looking at for each position. If he's not that, then none of this will matter.NewEraX25 wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2026 6:41 pm Love how everyone glazes the Kubiak hire and then shits on the players he wants to bring in to run his vision.
It is a nice bonus coming of a championship team, know what successful building blocks look like up close. Yeah the last thing I'm thinking is these are willy nilly choices. But then everyone wants a GM to be the end all be all when it comes to talent, everything has to be a binary line. I like to think the coach still talks to the GM and both end up building a vision together of what that looks like, in a way become one.
