Raiders still have approx 74 million left with Geno's cap going to cover the new cornerback from Buffalo. Just need to add Stokes number against the 74 million. Also the money needed to cover draft pick,s needs to be counted against the cap.

He can battle for a guard spot and be good depth for sure. He's not a throwawayDanKD wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2026 11:11 am Glaze should probably be a backup guard / tackle. With better coach he is probably a fine reserve.

Sure the guy is overpaid; but what can you do….offer him a 3 year deal paying 60 million would be kinda the same deal the ravens offered and he would just resigned with the ravens….we really had to go overboard to get him….

Yes it’s still an area to improve.
Perhaps we double dip on the O-Line and go Dunker 2nd round or look at someone like Markel Bell later as a day 3?
In any case, Spytek is targeting the right areas and let’s see who else we bring in prior to the draft.

what in the hell is going on here?
raiders releasing turd players then making solid moves in the offseason in preparation for the draft like resigning stokes...am i imagining?
i'm relieved...put the $$$ in the offensive and defensive lines, no more big money offseason splashes on wide receivers that don't pan out (i signed on today half expecting the announcement that alec pierce was a raider)
and protecting the investments made on younger players jeanty (and soon, fernando)
get that x receiver in the draft r2/3, - give the young wideouts on the roster already a chance to play under a real coaching staff
and if they don't pan out - you have multiple picks in the first two rounds of next year's draft to get a stud
we say this every offseason, but...this is looking up

Eh, if you don't have an elite RT, you don't have a RT. This is a familiar situation for many other teams in the league. Many of them are unhappy with their RT. It's not an easy spot to solve, and it's a very expensive position to fix in free agency. I think folks should refrain from judging the guys on this roster too harshly considering who was coaching the team. We've already invested pretty heavily on the OL, but Spytek hasn't been able to evaluate his prospects. Linderbaum was our big addition, LG is a black hole still. I don't see us adding a RG or RT.DanKD wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2026 11:11 am Glaze should probably be a backup guard / tackle. With better coach he is probably a fine reserve.
I mean it's $22M a year with $42M guaranteed, he is still one of the highest paid Tackles in the league.
Don't go and look at who we just agreed to terms with.BlackShield wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2026 11:19 am what in the hell is going on here?

Reminds me of when we got Rodney Hudson. Now build out the rest of this OL and let's feast
Maybe look at an LT in the draft to eventually replace Kolton, he's been injured every year
