Figured this deserved it's own thread.
Maxx, you're a good dude. Never had any issues with you other than the trade request/AP thing. But this is a business and it was time to move on. Good luck in Baltimore.

What ive read and seen chatter about is Crosby was butthurt that he didnt have access to Mark Davis like he once did before Tom and company got there. Its similar to when Hue was here and was butthurt when Mark became owner that he had to go through Reggie and not directly to the owner anymore. I think its good because there has to be separation between Mark and the players.LayneStaley wrote: Sat Mar 07, 2026 9:57 am
This shit circulating about Alex Guerrero pisses me off. He needs to stay in his lane, keep him away from the team.

Seriously, there have been guys who did billboards, full pages in a paper, videos and more. We get it, you hate the guy. He could have farted out a farewell and you would have complained it did not stink enough

I don't hate on him for this. Dude really did give his all for us on the field.
But this is about the team and Fernando Mendoza now. It's not personal. It was time.

If he wanted to build and win here he wouldn't have wanted to leave. Especially now since we have a coach & qb coming in. Dude said he wanted out then turns around and says he never thought this day would come. Whatever have fun listening to yourself in Baltimore. Just tired of hearing him talkBoKnows81 wrote: Sat Mar 07, 2026 1:44 pm

I can't say one negative thing about his effort or play on the field though. So kudos to him for that

But you just typed his name 5x - joking, jokingchucker wrote: Sat Mar 07, 2026 10:29 am There is absolutely nothing wrong with bumping this thread to talk about Maxx all you, or anyone else, wants. Personally I'm going to be watching Crosby's performance and the Ravens performance and comparing it to what we did with the resources from trading him.
Hopefully it gets discussed more in this thread and doesn't dominate every other thread. The way we've had to manage the Carr discussion to keep it from being an all-Carr forum really sucks. Unfortunately one Carr post in an unrelated thread consistently turns into multiple pages about nothing but Carr.
By the way, anyone who uses this post as an invitation to talk about Carr is getting a timeout.![]()

It's really hard to understand how people can hate Maxx for me. He gave all he had every week. I wish we had more with his desire not less.BoKnows81 wrote: Sat Mar 07, 2026 2:08 pm I don't hate on him for this. Dude really did give his all for us on the field.

We’re now at 5 Maxx threads. What’s the appropriate mourning period before they’re all thrown into one bag and tossed “Behind Enemy Lines”?
Thought about “the face” of the Raiders. Maxx was never that for me. Madden absolutely. Big Al, of course. Bo became the biggest “superstar”. To some degree, Stabler, Matuszak, Alzado, and that fantastic footage of Willie Brown running an interception 75 yards for a TD. But honestly to me at least, those were more Raider images than “the face”. Madden and Big Al. That’s it. Other than that, this is, and always will be, the face of the Raiders…

Yea. Its like someone put a teaspoon too much salt in their soup and they think it's literal poison. Its a strange overreaction IMO.
If we used both of the 1sts we got to draft 2 Defensive Ends that were literal clones of Maxx in every way.... I think every raider fan would be on cloud 9.

29yo with a shoulder knee and ankle.
Zero guaranteed money left after 2026 and will need a contract re-do.
35M a year will be my guess bc you traded 2 1s so he must be very valuable to you Baltimore. No?
In the end he may not live up to the 5y 170M contract with 135M gauranteed.

I believe Max enjoyed his time with the Raiders despite the losing. Good luck (but not to much). I honestly believe the Ravens are on the downswing. I could easily see them picking at about 10. Crazy that current mocks have 7 qb's going in the top 10. Our 2 picks next year can really set us up.

Yeah we have heard him tell us a million times how hard he works and how he has given his all, etc. Im sure a lot of players have given it their all also every week but they dont feel the need to constantly remind us of it.FLORIDARAYDAH wrote: Sat Mar 07, 2026 2:58 pm It's really hard to understand how people can hate Maxx for me.
