and the goalposts get moved again. YOU said once after saying continually now it is not once or continually but more than once but not quite continually.

Let me know when you have the goalposts set up where you want them. And then decide to move them again.

The only girlish drama I see is a few fans hanging on his every word hoping for something to be mad about. If he bothers you so much why follow his every move ?

Why is there 60 pages on this topic alone here lol.

He is part of the team, so unfortunately, if you follow the team, you have to follow his girlish drama. Not too hard to connect the dots. I hope he is not on the team, as I feel he is on the decline and would be better to get something for him sooner rather than later.

The team gave him too much leash earlier and he needs to be reeled in. Just shut up and play-you’re not that deep.

More importantly, who will be the OL coach? That’s actually important.

But you don’t have to pay attention to his drama, that’s a choice. I follow closely what’s going on with the team but I pay zero attention to to any player’s social media posts- I care about their football life not their personal life. Crosby plays hard from whistle to whistle, stays out of trouble, and provides a good work example for his teammates. If the team decides to trade him, good, I hope they get as much as possible in return. If they don’t trade him, good, he’s by far the best player on defense and one of the best in the league at his position.

Why do you have to follow a players comments on any subject if you follow the team? There is no rule of fandom that states if a player has a social media presence, the fan has to listen or read. As for "just shut up and play?" That is not the reality for the vast number of players. At your job, do you just shut up and work? Maybe you do, maybe you don't. Maybe you would lie to make a point. It is not reasonable to demand something of a player just because you don't like what they are saying. I am sure if you liked the things a player said you would not care if they talked or not. But we, here and now, don't want to hear language that we disagree with.

I personally don't care if he talks or not because I am not triggered every time they say something that might challenge my preconceived notion of what the player should or should not be talking about. And yea, your "girlish" comments absolutely demonstrate you are triggered by his choice of words. Maybe you should work on that.

Nicely laid out. I don’t go to bed nor wake up wondering what did he say or do today. He is a really good player and has an excellent work ethic, but give a young guy some money and fame to flame his ego, especially in Vegas, they’re more often than not self indulged in how important they are. Growing pains, but he hasn’t been in the headlines for really stupid shit like DUI, drag racing or domestic violence.

So he talks too much for some, has an ego and wants to be paid attention to. I can live with that. I just want this team respectable again and winning.

Exactly. Of all the issues with this team Maxx doesn't even make the list IMO. We need more players like him not less

I see the argument of trading him before his skills start to decline. I don't see that happening as of yet. I also see the argument that he inserted himself into the decision making process overly. But he was the undisputed best player on defense and one of the best overall so I get why he felt his voice should be heard and considered. I mean, Cam Ward wanted to be involved in the Titans coach search for God's sake. Ego's among players is a thing and not limited to established great players. The notion that talking or taking videos is somehow a crime worthy of being traded is laughable. That all said, Kubiak and Spytek have obviously had discussions of pretty much all the impact players and they will decide what is right going forward. Since my voice is not one they will listen to I will sit back, enjoy this fine cup of black coffee and relax.

Sounds like a Rooney Rule success on the coffee. I’m sure you considered alternatives.

Its funny, I have never put stuff in my coffee. My mom drinks it black so that is how I drink it to this day. My wife thinks I am nuts.

My parents almost wanted to tell me I was adopted when I put milk in my coffee. They took it black all their lives.

I used to also but I just need a little something in it now.
I was only joking if that was inappropriate.

blinders? My expectations have nothing to do with off the field shit. Maxx puts it all out there on the field and that is what I expect. Nothing soft of low there.

But someone going apeshit over off the field stuff? Yea, that is soft in my opinion.
