Trade Maxx. Yes or No?
First off, Mods, if this can be squeezed into the “Maxx Crosby” thread somehow, please do.
I’m genuinely curious. Based on posts it seems about 50/50, but we have plenty who visit and never say a word. Maybe they’ll vote though.
As to the details of a trade. Who knows? Maxx for draft picks. Maxx for a player and draft picks. Let’s just say it’s logically fair and equal, cause emotionally fair may not exist for some.

I did not vote because both answers can be correct. No if Kubiak wants to keep him. No if we get lowball offers. No if Spytek wants to keep him. Yes if Kubiak wants him gone, yes if we get an offer that meets or exceeds his value and yes if Spytek wants to get rid of him. Since we don't know any of that, I have no dog in this hunt. Personally, I would keep him but my last name is not Kubiak or Spytek and I have no idea if people are making offers and if they are what those offers are.Raiderman4 wrote: Fri Feb 13, 2026 3:01 pm Wow split right down the middle at 24 votes for yes and for no.

If reports on our asking price are true - we are not actually considering trading him. I love Maxx but 2 1sts starting point is basically a “f[raiders_icon]ck you” trade price.Attyla wrote: Fri Feb 13, 2026 3:17 pm I did not vote because both answers can be correct. It’s possible we get it… but I don’t think you’re gonna have many teams considering it at that price. He’ll be 29 by season kickoff and has famously played 10 million snaps over his career with the effect of it becoming fairly obvious given that he seems to have surgery every offseason lately.
There’s not a ton of guys (non-QBs) that aren’t available for 2 1sts.

I don’t see two firsts unless the cowboys were players(obviously not now)…
I have said before it doesn’t have to be just draft picks.
A team like the Rams..decent first and they are competing. Get their first and a later pick, but look at a young player on their roster.. an OL or Dl or anything.they have a well rounded roster..good depth..
That’s how I hope Spytek attacks it

In this case Spytek, not Gruden, is making the picks. I trust Spytek and Kubiak are better talent evaluators than Gruden who squandered the Mack haul. As long as they focus on solid players and not low floor high ceiling types, it should fill out the roster in a couple years. Once the team gets depth then they can gamble on those high ceiling picks.eastcoast128 wrote: Fri Feb 13, 2026 12:25 pm
He’s already under contract and would net the club a Parson’s like return you have to listen. The question is, do you think the front office would be able to turn the picks received into value. That might be the hardest part
