Maxx keeps whining and complaining that he "know's the truth" and he's "not gonna throw gas on the fire".
...Maxx, it's simple...please, either just STFU or throw some "WATER on the fire".

Do we really care what he talks about? It is just noise to me like a lot of players, so I tune it all out.

Between his history of being an attention whore and his surgery, I wonder if that may turn of some teams who are possible trade partners?
Of course, we'll probably never know the whole truth about that one way or the other anyway.

The injury should not be an issue, he likely returns to form there. The talking? As long as a player does not throw his teammates or his coaches under the bus, I doubt it factors in. But I do agree that we will never know the entire truth.raidersince63 wrote: Fri Feb 13, 2026 8:12 am Between his history of being an attention whore and his surgery, I wonder if that may turn of some teams who are possible trade partners?

Yeah from what I know, the procedure is fairly simple but the healing/rehab time will possibly last until close to draft time or maybe even after. And no team is gonna make that big of a decision till they are 95% sure he's OK.Attyla wrote: Fri Feb 13, 2026 8:24 am The injury should not be an issue, he likely returns to form there. The talking? Everybody realizes, right, that Crosby is responding to questions asked? He didn't get up one morning and post something. The noise would be just as loud, if a question was asked and all he did was turned and walked away.raidersince63 wrote: Fri Feb 13, 2026 7:51 am Maxx keeps whining and complaining that he "know's the truth" and he's "not gonna throw gas on the fire".

I'm pretty sure Maxx doesn't have mandatory media obligations this time of year. So he's going out there and speaking of his own accord. The questions are most likely about what he wants to talk about. This is besides the point that Maxx has brought it on himself by his own actions. He can't stay off social media, and decided to miss a day of work because he disagreed with his boss's decision. It's wild to me that AJ Brown wishing the offense would utilize him better makes him a diva, but Maxx making a soft threat every year that he is interested in playing elsewhere doesn't hold the same kind of weight.RickRyb wrote: Fri Feb 13, 2026 8:45 am Everybody realizes, right, that Crosby is responding to questions asked? Maxx is getting blasted here and everywhere else I am looking. How is that not getting the same kind of weight?NoThanksSir wrote: Fri Feb 13, 2026 11:19 am I'm pretty sure Maxx doesn't have mandatory media obligations this time of year. I asked my AI bot and here is what it said.
Based on recent 2026 reports, opinions on Maxx Crosby are divided, with some labeling his behavior as "diva-like" due to cryptic social media activity, frustration over being benched for knee surgery, and trade rumors. Conversely, he is widely recognized as a "dedicated Raider" and elite competitor who plays through injury.
Arguments for "Diva" Behavior: Critics point to cryptic social media posts, failure to directly address trade rumors, and acting out due to being shut down by the team for knee surgery.
Arguments Against/Context: Supporters and teammates view him as a "total badass" and one of the hardest workers in the league. He has publicly stated his desire to remain a Raider and has denied reports of a, for example, player-only meeting.
Current Situation: Following knee surgery, he has dismissed trade talk, focusing instead on recovery and staying with the team.
Essentially, his intense competitiveness and frustration with losing have led to conflicting interpretations of his actions, separating him from a traditional, selfish "diva" label.

Will you concede that by your own logic Maxx is a cancer as well? I wasn't going to play ball but you brought out the chatbot, so I had to request that you think for yourself.

Based on recent reports, Maxx Crosby is not considered a "cancer" to the Las Vegas Raiders, but rather a highly competitive, disgruntled star frustrated with the team's lack of success and recent management decisions. While he reportedly disagreed with being shut down for the 2025 season and sparked trade rumors, he remains a committed player and leader on the team.
Frustration with Management: Reports indicated tension between Crosby and Raiders brass after they sat him for the final two games of the 2025 season with a knee injury.
Competitiveness: Crosby "vehemently disagreed" with being forced to stop playing, showcasing a desire to compete despite the team's struggles.
Commitment: Despite trade speculation, he has indicated he is focused on his recovery and future, and owner Mark Davis has reaffirmed his value, calling him a "great Raider".
Leadership: Crosby is viewed as a foundational piece of the team, having signed a massive extension in 2024 and continuing to perform at a Pro Bowl level.
His frustration is widely viewed as a byproduct of a desire to win, rather than a toxic team presence.
