I fail to see the “fun”.haji81872 wrote: Fri Jan 30, 2026 7:44 pm Just for fun. Would you prefer?
Ejiro Evero and Mendoza
Or
Kubiak and Ty Simpson.
Say KK comes in and says he wants the picks of the Jets.
Let’s Go Mendo!!!

This is actually the part that doesn’t scare me. While beautiful and all, it’s only for a few months a year. Remainder of the year is basically suicide watch with all the gloomy weather. Been here for over 50 years, it’s not fun.BoKnows81 wrote: Fri Jan 30, 2026 4:28 pm The part that scared me was "he just moved his family to the Northwest"
I’d go so far as to say the fans in Oakland had more manners most of the time.

Yea but I believe Klint was quoted saying he was tired of relocating. Hopefully the jump to HC makes it all worth it for him.Viper wrote: Sat Jan 31, 2026 4:46 am This is actually the part that doesn’t scare me. That's my thinking. They just moved so no deep ties to the area. He knows he wants to be an HC so a move is in the cards at some point. They move to LV now and he could be here for a decade or more. His kids have a settled situation growing up.BoKnows81 wrote: Sat Jan 31, 2026 4:57 am Yea but I believe Klint was quoted saying he was tired of relocating. For everyone questioning the Cardinals interview, maybe that's part of the appeal for him. He knows this gig will be at least a few years and maybe him or his family like that area to set up a residence? Things like that have to be in considerationBoKnows81 wrote: Sat Jan 31, 2026 4:57 am Yea but I believe Klint was quoted saying he was tired of relocating. You never know. I think his priorities will more likely lean towards the likelihood of team success, but family matters too. The Vegas area, outside of the strip, is pretty nice really.Hellbound wrote: Sat Jan 31, 2026 5:43 am For everyone questioning the Cardinals interview, maybe that's part of the appeal for him. Yep just throwing another angle out there as we all have a tendency to put blinders on every once in a whilechucker wrote: Sat Jan 31, 2026 5:50 am You never know. It's a day of waiting for information but, in reality, if the day ends with a complete lack of information then it's probably all good. A weird waiting game.

I think the second best result would be hearing nothingchucker wrote: Sat Jan 31, 2026 6:09 am It's a day of waiting for information but, in reality, if the day ends with a complete lack of information then it's probably all good. A weird waiting game.
Best would be that they have agreed to him being with the Raiders
Worst would be an announcement that Kubiak has removed himself from consideration.
If we hear nothing, he is coming to the Raiders.

To add to this regarding team success, the Cardinals don't have a history of cycling through coaches every year either. Deservedly fired or not, that has to weigh on the mind a bit also. Im of the opinion that our job isn't head and shoulders above the Arizona job as some may thinkchucker wrote: Sat Jan 31, 2026 5:50 am You never know.
