No clue where to post some stuff not necessarily team related but could be? Feel free to delete if this belongs somewhere else.

Maxx and Parsons would be nasty. I probably wouldn’t pay the price though.

Curry was a QB in college and switched to WR, and was pretty good at it

Drew Brees doing home insurance commercials with his robo babe wife, both wearing a blue number 9 jersey. Bet that means he is going into the HOF as a Charger

Was always tough for me to root for Curry. He was one of the top recruits when he came out of High School. Curry committed to UVA, and rumors were Michael Vick wanted to go to Virgina but committed to Va Tech once Curry committed to UVA. Curry later decided to pull his commitment and went to Carolina. So UVA got neither of them.

Pete Carmichael has spent so many years with Payton. It appears that Payton wants to give more opportunities to the younger minds - firing Lombardi and letting Carmichael move on (probably mutual).

This has the feel of something non-football related doing him in. It will leak if that’s the case.

I mean letting the likely super bowl winning qb walk for nothing while putting all your hopes on mccarthy probably didnt help

Or they just saw Darnold outduel Stafford and take his team to the superbowl

Voluntarily going from a 14 win QB to a guy who had never taken a snap in the league was crazy. Having said that it seemed like more of an O’Connell decision. And why fire him now and not right after the season if it was his doing?

The Vikings' drafts under him have been pretty weak. The move itself isn't so surprising, just the timing of it. My guess would be that he and O'Connell were in a power struggle and he lost.

So surprising. Sean Payton proving once again that he is a complete asshole. Although a couple of talking heads are comparing it to a Parcells kind of intentional move to motivate Nix.

1. I doubt it.

2. That kind of crap doesnt work with today's players.
