If it's Kubiak at least we have an OC already. I'm starting to think that Graham for DC could be a possibility for a new guy who's first choice may already have been hired.

How many openings are possible next year? Looking at each team and situation in seeing the Jets. Perhaps the Colts, Bengals, Buccaneers, Panthers, Commanders. Those are reaches but possible.

The Bengals compete for the division if not win it outright if Burrow stays healthy. If he doesn't, Taylor probably gets another pass. The Bucs had a lot of injuries this year. They likely bounce back next year. The Colts are going to be without Daniel Jones next year it seems & that could be a rough go. Steichen has been there a while & the Colts could get impatient.

Panthers & Commanders I can see panic firings, potentially if things don't go well. All in all there's been a lot of new gigs for HC the last few years. Next years head coach openings could be minimal. Anyone passing up a HC job for a better chance next year could be left holding their cock

I think if he ultimately planned on staying, he would’ve already withdrawn his name.
He could be interviewing for HC jobs as a way to get Seattle to give him a big pay raise to stay.

Haha! The Raiders would be interviewing assistant QB coaches and water boys if that were to happen. Raiders fans have beaten wife syndrome at this point

No one but Kubiak and close family knows what he’s thinking but ……

1. Every head coach job opening is usually associated with a shitty team

2. Through his agent, he could have let Pittsburgh know he was interested. Stable, great ownership, 2 coaches the last 30+ years and no QB

He could have had a hand shake agreement with Buffalo. Good ownership, new stadium and great QB

3. There was no better time to be a sought after coordinator than this year. A third of the league was looking for a new coach.

4. I think he takes a HC position. He has nothing to prove in Seattle and even less if they win the superbowl

They better. Patrick Graham can walk. The Giants and Dolphins got better without him. The Raiders will too

Schwartz would be a dream DC hire. Such a shame it’s taking so long to hire HC. I sure hope this delay is calculated or I fear Mendoza is going to get engulfed in the flames of the Raiders tire fire.

Should we panic? I mean if Kubiak stays we pivot to Webb right? Is he really gonna turn down a HC job to watch Payton call plays as his OC. What’s the big difference between PGC and OC when the HC calls the plays? I’m sure he gets more money but not as much as HC of the Raiders.

The table is set for us. Hopefully Brady and Spytek seal the deal. I am glad other teams helped us by not allowing us to cut our nose despite our face. We definitely dodged some bullets not hiring some of these ass clowns. Kubiak or Webb. If not, we deserve out misery.

I initially preferred Webb but now Kubiak seems like a must. Because of Webb's inexperience, I figured we would hire a veteran OC (possibly with HC experience) to help guide him. The talent pool in regards to OC's has dried up somewhat. We really need Klint because he is more experienced, and he will more than likely call his own plays.

I’ll be honest with you, Schwartz and the defense was the only good thing about the Browns last season. He has head coaching experience with the Lions where he had them playing at a high level. Schwartz at Head Coach and let’s say Kingsbury at OC—I wouldn’t be mad at it..
