The Divisional Round games
This weekend's games are all easy picks for me when it comes to rooting interest...... I'm not torn between two teams in any of them where I don't mind either team or I hate both teams.
I want the Bills to destroy the Broncos - for obvious reasons. I think almost every Raider fan does, with the exception of some weirdos who live in Bills country and hate them with a passion. The Bills have so many injuries, but they do have the superpower of a Josh Allen who can make ridiculous plays if it comes down to it.
I want the Niners to beat the Seahawks. That's probably not a popular view among Raider fans, but I've never had the disdain for the Niners that a Bay Area Raider fan would have and I still hate the AFC West Seahawks. The Niners also have so many injuries, I don't know how they get it done.
I would love to see the Texans smash the Pats. Maybe as a result of a CJ Stroud fumble that's overturned by replay and then called an incomplete pass due to some obscure rule. Stroud looks awful right now, if they don't keep him clean then he'll have multiple turnovers again.
Then the weekend can get capped off by the Rams routing the Bears, with Mike Lefleur screaming "f[raiders_icon]ck the Bears" in support of his bro.

Rule is hand going forward. Hand had clearly started moving forward. Even if only an inch or two

It should be.Rabidraider wrote: Sun Jan 18, 2026 10:41 am
So is the play dead right there with the knee down and the defender making contact?

His hand had started forward. Doesn't matter how little it had moved, but his hand had started forward. Letter of the rule says that's not a fumble.

I get your point when viewed in slow motion but I do think we can get too caught up in frame by frame analysis. To me the arm was not clearly moving forward. Ultimately didn't matter that ,much since it was 3rd down and pats recovered.Raider_Dave wrote: Sun Jan 18, 2026 12:46 pm His hand had started forward. Watch it again. Arm is hit just before. Brian Baldinger says it was a 100% fumble here.

I don't care what Baldinger says. He had started his forward motion. That's what the rule is. It was a blown call that they didn't even review. No big impact with what happened after.BoKnows81 wrote: Sun Jan 18, 2026 12:55 pm

Ok dude. Weren't you the one yesterday crying about the refs and the PI's saying the 2nd PI wasnt actually PI when it clearly was?Raider_Dave wrote: Sun Jan 18, 2026 1:02 pm I don't care what Baldinger says. We all know the refs suck. But that was a fumble. No matter what RaiderDave believes.
