The Divisional Round games
This weekend's games are all easy picks for me when it comes to rooting interest...... I'm not torn between two teams in any of them where I don't mind either team or I hate both teams.
I want the Bills to destroy the Broncos - for obvious reasons. I think almost every Raider fan does, with the exception of some weirdos who live in Bills country and hate them with a passion. The Bills have so many injuries, but they do have the superpower of a Josh Allen who can make ridiculous plays if it comes down to it.
I want the Niners to beat the Seahawks. That's probably not a popular view among Raider fans, but I've never had the disdain for the Niners that a Bay Area Raider fan would have and I still hate the AFC West Seahawks. The Niners also have so many injuries, I don't know how they get it done.
I would love to see the Texans smash the Pats. Maybe as a result of a CJ Stroud fumble that's overturned by replay and then called an incomplete pass due to some obscure rule. Stroud looks awful right now, if they don't keep him clean then he'll have multiple turnovers again.
Then the weekend can get capped off by the Rams routing the Bears, with Mike Lefleur screaming "f[raiders_icon]ck the Bears" in support of his bro.

The f[raiders_icon]cking Chiefs miss the playoffs and the Refs just switch to wearing a different AFCW team colors.

I feel Josh Allen missed some throws. I think Mendoza has shown to be a more accurate passer and if he can add 10-20 pounds, you can coach him how to hold the ball and you can run him like Allen.

Love him or hate him. Sean Payton has killed it.

The last one was. He didn't turn his head around and tackled the receiver just before the ball got there. They will call that every time.Raider_Dave wrote: Sat Jan 17, 2026 5:15 pm fcking refs decide the game.... pathetic. Neither of those PI calls were legit.

I was thinking all game - it was pretty clean from a penalty standpoint and then....sure enough...the refs cranked it up for the home win.

Of course.
If it were not for the refs Raiders would win the SB every year.
Since they suck, they have to take it out on the Bills.
Good grief.

If that first one on the TD drive was PI then it should have been PI on the EZ throw to Cooks too.

Yeah he never looked back and tried to time his hit on the arm and was early. That's getting called every time.BoKnows81 wrote: Sat Jan 17, 2026 5:17 pm The last one was. He didn't turn his head around and tackled the receiver just before the ball got there.
The first one was a joke but there was roughing the passer on that play as well.
Too many turnovers and bad throws doomed Buffalo

The first PI in overtime didn't really matter. It was a 17 yard penalty. There a clear 15 yard roughing the passer on the same play. It was a Raider level dumb penalty. The second PI was ticky tack and should not have been called in a playoff game.
Bills screwed up and deserved to lose. Sloppy with the ball.
Payton is a really good coach and I can't stand him.

Yup, as much as I don’t like the outcome, White needed to at least pretend to play the ball.BoKnows81 wrote: Sat Jan 17, 2026 5:17 pm The last one was. He didn't turn his head around and tackled the receiver just before the ball got there. They will call that every time.

Looks like the refs figured they better not call any penalties against the home team for fear of never getting out of the stadium alive. More questionable hometown penalties called against a team than I've seen in years.

Those calls in OT wouldn’t bother me as much if it wasn’t for the no call at the end of the 4th. Every bit as bad as what they ended up calling twice in OT.raiders93 wrote: Sat Jan 17, 2026 5:15 pm Was just thinking this. Looks like refs are gonna let them play barring something egregious…. Follow it up with 50 Yards in PI calls.
If I didn’t know any better I’d swear I was watching a different AFC west team

I don't want my qb running around like Allen. He's constantly beat up & results in a short shelf lifeALLRAIDERWORLD21 wrote: Sat Jan 17, 2026 5:17 pm I feel Josh Allen missed some throws.
