If Davis Webb is the guy, a Dick Lebeau type would be a DC for him. Older experienced and is happy being a DC of a strong defense.

There have been a number of lows, but that was probably the one that bothered me most. At least you could try to spin the others, but this one is just unforgivable.

Two Byron Youngs were drafted one year, 2023. The one we drafted is now elsewhere, the Rams drafted the other one and he is a stud.
Some speculated that the Raiders drafted the wrong one.

Flores wants a HC job (that I don't think he's going to get); would be ideal in that scenario.

Im at the point that I'd rather take a swing at hc. Im not caught up in the whole "he hasn't called plays" thing. Coen and a bunch of other hc's recently hired have only called plays for 1yr. It's not like they've had a ton more experience than what Webb has. Webb is at least the pass game coordinator too so it's not like he's strictly a position coach. Be it Kubiak, Webb, LaFluer all I know is I want an offensive minded hc to be on the sideline with Mendoza

There was never confirmation, no. The Byron Young that we drafted was considered a bit of a reach, based on experts' draft boards (probably 1 round early), while the one we passed on would have been considered a an appropriate value at that pick. We also had more DT depth than we had at DE at the time of the pick.
