Good point about Cailin Clark. Everyone I know loves this kid and congratulates me on us getting him as opposed to the constant degradation.KillerRaider30 wrote: Sat Jan 10, 2026 8:55 am Im leaning on Tom Brady for that strength. One head to hold off Mark from doing a Davis.
But my gut tells me Mark sees it also. Dang the entire football world saw it. And the fans come out to see him like they do Caitlin Clark.

Actually surprised we have not seen ProBowlFernado join up.haji81872 wrote: Sat Jan 10, 2026 10:30 am One Perk with Mondoza, that Indiana fanbase. Those guys are rabid and they will follow Mendoza wherever he goes if they win the National Championship. They were as relentless as that team.

Fernando will help put more raiders fans or at least raider neutral fans in our seats so the home games are not away games

I have not been this excited for this team in a long long time. I am getting a current player jersey for the first time since we had Kaufman and that was a replica. I did recently buy a McFadden authentic at a garage sale for 20 bucks with the intention of removing the name plate and replacing it with the next great Raider who wears number 20. I am still waiting. i am probably going to be waiting for a long time lolDanKD wrote: Sat Jan 10, 2026 10:34 am Fernando will help put more raiders fans or at least raider neutral fans in our seats so the home games are not away games

Agreed. Seriously, excited. Not I am drinking the Kool-Aid excited either. Like this is actually a turning point excited. Not "hey, this could be a turning point" that we have deluded ourselves into thinking was happening over the past 20 years, but a real TURNING POINT.Attyla wrote: Sat Jan 10, 2026 10:44 am I have not been this excited for this team in a long long time. WOW, this is unreal;
12 insane numbers that define Indiana's CFP dominance
Story by
Yahoo Sports
Fernando Mendoza and Indiana's 56-22 dismantling of Oregon in the College Football Playoff semifinals was historic in more than one way, starting with the Heisman Trophy winner's own performance: five touchdowns to four different receivers — with only three incompletions.
Here's a deeper look by the numbers at the Hoosiers after they secured a place in the Jan. 19 national championship game against Miami.
========================================================================================
1
Number of FBS or NFL players who have ever had a game with at least 5 passing TDs, an 85% completion rate and at least 25 rushing yards. That would be Mendoza's performance against Oregon.
5
Number of games this season Mendoza has had more TDs than incompletions. According to Dave Revsine of Big Ten Network, no other quarterback this century has done that more than twice.
7.5
Points Indiana is favored by over Miami in BetMGM's initial odds for the national championship.
8
Total number of 4- and 5-star recruits on Indiana's roster. Oregon had 55. And of those eight Indiana recruits? Not a single one was a 5-star.
9
Total tackles for loss by Indiana's defense against Oregon. Mendoza, meanwhile, was sacked just once.
28
Number of points Indiana scored off Oregon turnovers in the semifinal. That's three more than the total number of points — as in total total — the Hoosiers have allowed in their two CFP games this season.
30
Minutes it takes to drive from Mendoza's Miami home to Hard Rock Stadium, site of the Jan. 19 national championship game.
45
Number of Indiana players with at least four years experience.
69
Total points Indiana beat Alabama and Oregon by in its two CFP games this season.
100
Combined total of points Indiana has beaten its four top-10 opponents by this season.
473
Indiana's point differential this season, largest in the CFP era. Clemson's 467 in 2018 is the second largest.
3,547
Get-in price in dollars for the Jan. 19 national title game between Indiana and Miami, as of Saturday morning, according to Gametime. That's nearly $1,000 higher than the average ticket price for last year's championship with Ohio State and Notre Dame.

Somewhere around 1970 I scraped together enough money to custom order a black jersey with silver number and name...looked exactly like the jersey that the Raiders wore to home game.DanKD wrote: Sat Jan 10, 2026 10:54 am Yeah I was a bit snake bitten as I got a Carr jersey as a gift earlier in his career but my bday is in july and ill ask the wife for a Fernando. Overnight the Raiders will inherit tens of thousands of new Indiana fans.
On the jersey subject, I haven't bought Raider merch since Oakland.......I wont mind a Mendo jersey but I still might have to wait and see how he plays out lol.
