Read and saw some stuff on Indiana's head coach Curt Cignetti. His learning under saban and what he's done since he's left. And making Indiana into a NCAA powerhouse in such a short time. I know he just got a 8 year extension but.
Only thing would be his coaching staff, would it be all college level coaches as he probably doesn't have any connections to any NFL level coaches.
But from what I've read and seen he's a helluva coach.
If its not John Harbaugh then its going to be very interesting to see who gets the job for the Raiders.

Harbaugh should do a Cignetti and go to college. The NFL isn’t a league for CEO types anymore.

Stephen Ross about to make a mockery out of the Rooney rule by going hard after Harbaugh. He’s fired the GM too so he’s lining it up for himSuperRaider wrote: Thu Jan 08, 2026 7:40 am Add Mike McDainels to the list

...its all about projecting the right fit for the new direction we are presumed to be moving in. ....I personally think that there are better fits for what we are likely to do, and I think a guy like kubiak is more likely to be in that sweet spot, so to speak, with enough, and with the right experience, and would less likely try to dominate the GM.haji81872 wrote: Wed Jan 07, 2026 6:50 am Raider fans turning up their nose at John Harbaugh is some funny shit.
....I also think that the Denver QB coach, while intriguing in ways, is not the right fit at this time. ...too early for this team, and as it is projected to look after the draft, (more regarding the presumed 1st pick) and leading up to the next season, to commit to him.....

He'd make sense for them too. A veteran QB that doesn't need developing like a rookie and a top of the line scouting and player development department. As long as he got a quality OC he'd be winning there.Jeevo wrote: Thu Jan 08, 2026 8:20 am Flores makes a lot more sense in Baltimore than Vegas. They still see themselves as a tough D first style of team and that’s what his selling point is.

He isn't under contract so we would get nothing for PG leaving, not even if became President.

I would not be surprised if there are more HC openings/candidates after wild card weekend -- there may be more HC and Coordinators candidates for the Raiders..I would already be calling McDaniels if I was Spytek about the OC job
