Hater of the year so far.
Just reading he thinks Mendoza is a 4th rounder is reason enough not to watch it.

Heisman Trophy winner, 4th rounder? I would guess he'd be an ex-scout.

When you have a zipper clown that fires every GM and HC within a year and a half of each other over a decade, you are deservedly ridiculed and looked at with contempt. I do t blame the media one bit.

The way you stop the media hate is to build some sort of semblance of a stable organization that has goals and plans. Again the zipper clown has sustained this circus show
I agree though I’m maybe more conflicted at least on Pete and to an extent, AP.

Both seemed like reasonable choices at the time. I didn’t have particularly high year 1 expectations for either, was pretty much prepared to give them a pass before the season even started… and yet by the end of year 1 it felt impossible to justify giving them another year.

Especially Pete - low expectations are fine but you still can’t get humiliated. 9 double digit losses including 3 by 30+ points… the worst offence in the league in both points and yardage by a decent margin… while spending 40 million on a QB.

You can be bad… but you can’t be that bad.

Damning verdict if I ever saw one. Enough to never take him seriously again.

Here is your evidence why the Jets suck so bad every year. I bet he is the guy who pounded the table hardest for Wilson.

He's going to be the QB coach for 3 months out of the year before he goes back to his $300,000,000 announcing gig.

Sounds like a solid plan.

Dr Death wrote: Wed Jan 07, 2026 6:54 pm Well... Geno is an NFL veteran QB. Shedeure is a rookie that was snubbed by his own coach, denied TC reps and practice and maligned by almost everyone.... unfairly, IMO. I didn't say he was great, or even good. I said he did okay for the circumstances he was handed. His dad wasn't the beast everyone said he would be. The kid handled himself well when asked questions. He didn't bitch and moan about anything. He just said he needed to get better and keep learning. I don't know how that makes him a bad prospect/teammate/player. The rub against the kid is his dad, in the eyes of many..... and it just isn't justified, IMO.

....yeah, sanders showed me more in some ways than I expected, and while his father is a dink, as you Americans would say, (...) and it did seem like he, in ways which could be a distraction at times, came with the kid, not unlike the trollop that now comes with Billy b. ....either way, his having gotten his opportunity and showing some good things has probably gotten him past a lot of that, and now it will be up to him.

Hypothetically if I put a bet in on Mendoza ($58,611) and if any of the following happen, does it void my bet or I just lose?
He doesn't come out.
He states he won't play for the Raiders, not now, not ever.
Injured badly during the playoffs.
Any freak accident that greatly effects him.
ICE deports him.

Thanks in advance.
Only a decision not to declare, anything else would be just bettors luck

Nerdy student of the game is huge. His breakdown of the final drive vs Penn St was damn impressive. He talked in terms of progressions, the mistakes he made and the clock management of the drive.

Everything the scout said to hate on Mendoza made him sound great.

Couldn't stand to watch the whole thing...it wasn't much more than a huge random word salad.

...And most of his perceived weaknesses of Mendoza are actually strengths of Mendoza.

Just a reminder that many twitterX accounts are just guys farming clicks. This time of year there are a bunch of accounts that post baseless rumors (nflrums, nfldraftbites, mlfootball) - they may mix in some valid stuff that others are reporting but if nobody else has it, then it's gonna be just some shit that Chad Forbes or others are throwing against the wall. Don't get sucked into discussion on it, it's pointless.

And then there's the guy who posted the analysis of Mendoza..... here's another gem from him and it's proven not to age so well. He's posted a lot of garbage and I've seen some tweets from credible people that lend doubt to the suggestion that he was ever actually a scout.
