We could do a helluva lot worse than Harbaugh. He's a proven commodity. If The Thumb made any suggestion, Harbaugh's the type of guy who you'd hear laughing hysterically after walking out of Mark's office.

Two big issue with Harbaugh.
1. He would need so much control. Control over Spytek. Basically be HC and GM.
2. Not only have to find good OC and DC, then if we’re doing well, have to replace them.
I don’t think he’s a fit at all

My guess for the team that phoned who’s still got a HC, would be GreenBay. I think they want to move on from LaFleur

Somebody ANYBODY race to the airport and go pick up John Harbough and bring him to the Raiders headquarters and don't let him leave till he signs on as Raiders HC. No brainer.

Your first point is good, I don't like the idea of a head coach who would command control over the GM. I think I'll take a beat on worrying about losing coordinators because we're playing well - I'll accept that as a good problem to have.WolfRaider wrote: Tue Jan 06, 2026 5:22 pm Two big issue with Harbaugh.

John Harbaugh.
If we want to change the culture of the Raiders there is no one better than Harbaugh. He can bring in Monken and sign Tyler Linderbaum. Develop Mendoza….OL gets immensely better with this one signing and a vet C to work with Mendoza.
He is 63, same age as Cignetti, get 7-8 years out of him and groom a successor.
2024 Top Offense
Perennial Top Defensive Team
With Harbaugh I bet Max will want to stay.
18 seasons 12 Playoff Appearances 1 Super Bowl Win.

Harbaugh isn't coming the AFC West and facing his brother twice a year.

Ravens didn't deserve to make the playoffs anyway, was glad to see Boswell's missed extra point didn't end up giving the Ravens the win.
That kicker is definitely not to blame.
Would not mind Harbaugh, he's a good coach. Don't see him choosing us though

That just seems like such an obvious fit. Or he could come here and get fired in a year...Oaktown Superman wrote: Tue Jan 06, 2026 4:37 pm I think he (John Harbaugh) stays on the east coast and signs with the Giants.

So, you would want a 63 year old coach for a new rookie QB? Why? Do you honestly think he would work out with this f[raiders_icon]cked up organization after all those years with a competent, Super Bowl winning franchise? I'm not seeing it, but..................Opoponax50 wrote: Tue Jan 06, 2026 5:02 pm We could do a helluva lot worse than Harbaugh. He's a proven commodity.
