Cam Miller Is Gone
If anyone was hoping to see Cam Miller start against the Chiefs, unfortunately you're out of luck. Miami just claimed him off our practice squad.

ETA: How the eff do you let that happen when you have plenty of roster spots open with the players they are shutting down? We are not a serious organization.

yeah, that sucks. don't think he was going to get any run anyhow, the team wants to see if aoc/pickett can be a #2 next season [low bar, i know].

Don't worry. We can pick him back up off someone's practice squad next year if we want him bad enoughBlackShield wrote: Thu Jan 01, 2026 2:43 pm yeah, that sucks. don't think he was going to get any run anyhow, the team wants to see if aoc/pickett can be a #2 next season [low bar, i know].

I don’t care about him anymore if we are drafting Mendoza. I’d hope AOC pounds sand too and we get a true professional vet backup for Mendoza that can show him the pro ropes.

What the point; Raiders are drafting Mendoza and he going to be the starter from day one; where Cam Miller is not really going to get much of chance to do anything in Vegas…and good luck to him

These kinds of QBs go on the practice squad all the time. The system allows a team to poach off the PS of other teams and ours was. Not Spytek's fault and we have poached players in the past as well. Mr ASDFASDFDSFGASGGADFGGSADFFGE

Actually crying about 6th round picks not making the roster then using that as a reason that we need to fire the GM
If this aint trolling then it is the worst take i’ve seen all season
Most Day 3 picks are lucky to make it to the practice squad never mind the roster, this is a nothing move as Miller was nothing more than a number

I’m surprised more teams don't do this. It’s low key genius to grab an intriguing prospect off another team’s PS for the last game of the season, then have the whole offseason to evaluate them
