I feel we have really lucked out this year in the first round QB pick compared to previous years...Pete just has to get his shit together I don't like that he wants to get AOC involved in the shit show at this point let Pickett drive that last glorious nail into the coffin:)BoKnows81 wrote: Thu Jan 01, 2026 5:54 pm Ward is so garbage. You wanna talk about a guy who wasn't worth the #1 pick... that's him.

I saw a lot of him when he was at WSU. I wasn't convinced he was the even the best QB on the team. I wasn't bothered when he hit the portal for Miami.BoKnows81 wrote: Thu Jan 01, 2026 5:54 pm Ward is so garbage. You wanna talk about a guy who wasn't worth the #1 pick... that's him.

Look at the bright side, at least the evaluation was good. Too bad we were so inept we couldn’t even draft the intended playerBoKnows81 wrote: Thu Jan 01, 2026 4:56 pm Just a thought. Remember when the Raiders drafted the wrong Byron Young? Let's hope they draft the right Mendoza this time.
Half kidding.

Then everyone will know The Raiders have another O-Line that lacks talent.rcraider wrote: Thu Jan 01, 2026 5:24 pm You would think, but it's shocking how the last 3 coaching staffs didn't recognize the lack of talent we had on the O Line.

Im actually looking forward to hopefully getting Mendoza with the #1 overall pick now. Im normally a trade down kind of guy, but a 6'5" QB is tough to pass on. One good thing about tall QB's is they can usually QB sneak effectively and short QB's usually get stuffed.

Pump the breaks on Chambliss. This is obviously the first time some people are seeing him. He is closer 5 to 5'11 than 6'1. He is a great college QB, but he is not better than Moore or Mendoza, especially for the pro game.
