Donks invade the desert game day thread

The Raiders are hosting Denver today. I don’t know about the rest of you but I hate the idea of getting swept by the Horsefacses.

Porntnoy is the POS. He’s a hypocritical phony elitist. He cries out in pain as he strikes you

Someone should tell this guy he seriously needs therapy.

The call was correct, it was delay of game even if there is no way the Raiders can win the game.

And kicking the FG, yes it did end up beating the spread and making losers like Dave lose his shit, which is too funny in itself. But if I was the coach with a lousy team and record as this one I would take this last drive and the field goal as real game practice of a 2 minute drill. Even if the donkeys are in the prevent D as they were. It still is 2min drill practice with a positive outcome.

...and if it helps the real Raiders fans that bet on the Raiders no matter what then thats a plus too.

And anyone betting on sports are idiots anyway. Gambling is idiotic itself, you do not beat the house people. Get off gambling, go outside, get some hobbies, enjoy life!

It's nice to finally be seeing some play from some draft picks - even if it's injuries that finally got them some real playing time. Rogers and Porter and Bech may have a chance to be future contributors.

Pete knows fully well they have lost 8 games this season by double digits. Clearly the guy is grasping at anything at this point and wanted to give the backup a chance to get game reps and avoiding another double digit loss if they could. It was actually the best thing in weeks to see a backup QB and some rookies in the game making some plays.

Are people really giving Pete Carroll credit for successfully executing a strategy to fix the betting results? People think he's capable of that?

I was thinking the same thing. If he had a bet down, logically it would have to be on Den to cover. He has shown nothing in 13 weeks that would lead anyone to believe he could get the team to play a game close. That incompetence gives him the perfect opportunity to get a bet down on Denver and make sure Den covered the spread. If that happened it wouldnt raise any red flags. We'd all just assume that it was just his run of the mill, garden variety incompetence. IMO, Payton's decision to go for it on 4th and 4 with 1 min left, instead of kicking the 45 yard FG to make it a 13 point game is more open to rigging allegations. Did Payton have money down on the Raider's covering?

While checking in from time to time during commercial breaks from the college BB game I was watching, it looked like a Denver home game. What percentage of Denver fans were In the stadium?

If there was ever a more convincing reason to fire PC, it would be to keep Raider fans asses in seats instead of selling their tickets. I for one will be cancelling my YouTube NFL subscription. Worst 300 I have ever spent...err wasted.
