It's good to see some of our off season "In Pc & Spytek I trust" come around to reality;)ToastPatterson wrote: Sat Nov 29, 2025 7:43 pm Oh, I am not expecting any miracles where Geno is concerned. He is a steaming pile of excrement. But think we can all agree that our running game has largely been hamstrung by Kelly's game planning.
Jeanty has shown some flashes when there was a commitment to running inside.

Anyone who thinks CK was the problem is delusional. Pundits and Carrol aplogists may make him out to be a scapegoat, just like they are trying to make PG one, but it's laughable, and those that buy into the bullshit...again ...well no-one can help those but themselves.

I not really concerned with being right. I am comfortable enough in my own skin to not care if I am received as the dumbest person in the room. What I am concerned with is doing right. I have been optimistic for every coaching staff the Riders have ever assembled. It's the old adage of trusting someone until they prove you wrong.pfish57 wrote: Sat Nov 29, 2025 7:51 pm It's good to see some of our off season "In Pc & Spytek I trust" come around to reality;)

You are adding 2 and 2 and getting 5. While this team has a myriad of issues, Chip Kelly was terrible.Sold My Soul wrote: Sat Nov 29, 2025 7:56 pm Anyone who thinks CK was the problem is delusional. And you would be batting a -100% average. You are not the dumbest by any stretch...you just haven't figured out you are betting a losing hand.ToastPatterson wrote: Sat Nov 29, 2025 7:57 pm I not really concerned with being right. I just do not see any advantages to another coaching change, yet...Sold My Soul wrote: Sat Nov 29, 2025 8:03 pm And you would be batting a -100% average. You are not the dumbest by any stretch...you just haven't figured out you are betting a losing hand.
Pete has a solid track record and does not strike me as someone who has lost his edge. We all watch his pressers, he is still articulate and reasonable. If anything he has brought more credibility as a head coach since Mark pulled the pin on Gruden.
In my opinion the best case scenario would be for Pete to bring in a better offensive coordinator. A young one he can work with and allow succeed him. No one want's to come here which is why Pete was hired to begin with.
While I agree that you are what your record says you are a longer view needs to be applied when judging our head coach. Let's also not forget that our defense has been decent. Pete's expertise has always been on that side of the ball.
In my mind organizational dysfunction starting with the owner is the problem.

You have bigger issues. The Iron Bowl looks to be a near run thing.pfish57 wrote: Sat Nov 29, 2025 8:18 pm Dude are you fcking kidding me, this is worse than the past 2 regimes my God I can't believe anyone in their right mind would want another year of this dysfunctional Shit lol

I could buy into your misguided theory.... but for the fact Carrol by way of nepotism has sabotaged that theory you buy into.ToastPatterson wrote: Sat Nov 29, 2025 8:07 pm I just do not see any advantages to another coaching change, yet...

Tell me why you think Carrol and his kids deserve another shot ...and continuity don't count because losing by losing sake is...losing.

I went to Bama & my kids went to Bama... my son just happened to be there when they won 4 National Championships in his 4 years, no one will ever be able to replicate that Toast...I repeat No one will ever repeat that, the fact that people don't understand the dominance of the SEC is mind boggling..no f[raiders_icon]cking way any of these other conference teams could survive a SEC schedule!!! We beat ourselves into submission then have to endure the Playoffs...wake up!ToastPatterson wrote: Sat Nov 29, 2025 8:20 pm You have bigger issues. The Iron Bowl looks to be a near run thing.

Big 10 teams won two of the last three FBS championships. Odds are Ohio State will repeat. The tide has been ebbing dude.pfish57 wrote: Sat Nov 29, 2025 9:22 pm I went to Bama & my kids went to Bama... my son just happened to be there when they won 4 National Championships in his 4 years, no one will ever be able to replicate that Toast...I repeat No one will ever repeat that, the fact that people don't understand the dominance of the SEC is mind boggling..no fcking way any of these other conference teams could survive a SEC schedule!!! Therein lies the problem. You should have spent more time in the language arts lab at Bama.pfish57 wrote: Sat Nov 29, 2025 9:40 pm There in lays the problem, lifetime homers just can't fcking figure it out lol
