Oh yeah- there’s a game today. I almost forgot. Unfortunately I think we lower our draft picks and win one in a squeaker. Gino will have his best game since game #1. Yes a contrarian feeling. I think we might see a rookie offensive lineman or two play also. What can that hurt at this point? Raider 20 Browns 17.
I am playing golf so will check it out when I get home.

I'm enjoying and loving our Christmas tree trimming party tonight..
Haven't looked at the game and don't really care.
A very different feeling on a Sunday.
And honestly, I don't give a shit,
Feels good to put family and everything before this bullshit of a team.

Stone Forsyth, Alex Cappa, Tyler Lockett. Make sure these terrible players play significant snaps. Where do you have confidence it will get better?KillerRaider30 wrote: Sun Nov 23, 2025 4:07 pm So are the past 4 coaches who left the team depleted of players.
Basically a roster turnover with every HC GM change. No? Yes?
A business owner mantra is slow to hire quick to fire. When you see something as a detriment it rarely gets better. I’m all for giving a coach time. As much as I yell it during the games I wouldn’t fire anyone else in season. This staff has done nothing to instill confidence they can correct any issue this team has.

Unfortunate none of the other bad teams won but we still climbed to #5 in the loss. The giants appear to be the only winnable game on the schedule.

Been watching the Raiders since the 60's and, I can honestly say today we saw the worst offensive line to start a game in franchise history! The offense as a whole was saved by a few decent plays but stunk. Seems like every kickoff there's a holding penalty on special teams. Another missed field goal which in the end didn't matter. All Sanders had to do was play not to lose. Kudos to the Defense who played good despite spending the whole game on the field. Anyway, another first! WE are clearly the worst team in the NFL and, having Geno Smith at QB at this point is a godsend. The worst scenario would be starting a potential young franchise QB in this offense and ruin a career before it even starts.

Not only that but players are also acquired with schemes in mind. Zero continuity.KillerRaider30 wrote: Sun Nov 23, 2025 4:07 pm So are the past 4 coaches who left the team depleted of players.

Gruden was a WCO guy.
McDaniels was Erhardt-Perkins
I don't remember WTF Antonio Brown was trying to do offensively
Pete Carroll coached teams were typically run heavy WCO but Chip Kelly seems to mind f[raiders_icon]ck himself every Sunday so I do not know WTF he is trying to do either.
So with the turnover of coaching staff comes different philosophies that may or may not mesh with players on the roster.
Basically we are the island of misfit toys.

Atleast it's over. Was probably the hardest game I have watched. My first memory of Raiders football is them losing to the Packers in the AFL-NFL Championship game.

I hate saying this but the we need to lose out which inludes a loss to the Giants, have Jets beat Saints week 16, and Saints beat Titans week 17. This will put us at 2DanKD wrote: Sun Nov 23, 2025 4:17 pm Unfortunate none of the other bad teams won but we still climbed to #5 in the loss. At 2, we can either trade the pick for a boatload of picks or draft Mendoza or Moore. The young QB will attract a promising young co-ordinator.

Giants playing way better than Raiders. They have been very competitive and just blown a number of late leads

I get it.... but, what will we do with the draft position? I'm betting nothing other than what we always do... f[raiders_icon]ck it up.BoKnows81 wrote: Sun Nov 23, 2025 4:15 pm What a great fcking loss. Are there really people upset over this? This will be HUGE for us in the draft.

This is the worst team I have ever seen. It's worse than 2006, IMO. I'm not sure what can be done without 5 years of top 5 draft picks and a real coaching staff.
