And I was responding to a comment about todayBoKnows81 wrote: Sun Nov 09, 2025 2:01 pm Today, yes. But Darnold is still playing at a MVP level this year. His Achilles heel is continuing that play late in the year and into the post season. But he looks better this year than last year imo.

He played at a high level last year too. Then when the last two games of the season actually mattered, he shit in his hands and started clappingAttyla wrote: Sun Nov 09, 2025 2:00 pm 14 points off of the defense. Seahawks are doing it, not just Darnold

How fitting is it that the Seahawk's could possibly win it all, and we dug through their trash-scrap heap and suck, must be like rubbing salt in a wound for some around here..."In Spytek & PC I trust"

I know it doesn’t fit the narrative but they tried to sign Geno before Darnold. Had they succeeded we may have ended up with Darnold and the two team’s records would probably be the same as they are today.pfish57 wrote: Sun Nov 09, 2025 3:53 pm How fitting is it that the Seahawk's could possibly win it all, and we dug through their trash-scrap heap and suck, must be like rubbing salt in a wound for some around here..."In Spytek & PC I trust"![]()

The Seahawks are also not owned by Mark Davis either. Team culture starts with the ownership.pfish57 wrote: Sun Nov 09, 2025 3:53 pm How fitting is it that the Seahawk's could possibly win it all, and we dug through their trash-scrap heap and suck, must be like rubbing salt in a wound for some around here..."In Spytek & PC I trust"![]()
To your point though. An upgrade it QB has made a huge difference.

Well I guess some teams are Lucky & some Cursed, I seriously doubt the records would be the same.Jeevo wrote: Sun Nov 09, 2025 4:07 pm I know it doesn’t fit the narrative but they tried to sign Geno before Darnold. I hear you but we probably would have wrecked Darnold.pfish57 wrote: Sun Nov 09, 2025 4:19 pm Well I guess some teams are Lucky & some Cursed, I seriously doubt the records would be the same.

Again, with Darnold being 7 years younger than the living garbage can, we could of built around him and saved a 3rd round pick in the process. It was a no brainer. Esp since so many are down on this year's QB class.
