Howie rapping is just a crime against humanity. Gerry Curl Todd was painful but Marcus trying to look cool with sunglasses?

We needed to let the Bears have their day but we thought we were going to be in the hunt every year. Oh well, the 80s had their share of bad looks, we just added a layer to the list of bad looks.
Lol I remember that video. Have you ever seen the Eagles one? Hilarious. I'll see if I can find lol

I admit, as much NFL as I consume and feel like I am a bit of a historian of the game, that video I had never seen.

A historic post indeed. Thanks for that, we'll probably get beat tomorrow but at least we use to be the shit!

I think this “wins” as the worst NFL song of all time:

In retrospect Baker Mayfield would have been awesome but I doubt he would have been very successful as a Raider, nor would Rodgers.

I hate to admit it but we are a dumpster organization. Dumpster organizations have a way of bringing down the talent they can get into the building or become a refuge for losers. As others have commented the Jets share the same dumpster culture.
Favre was on fire and had the Jets at 8-3 before he got injured and tried to play through it. Which was a hardy and brave mistake.

Spytek should take to the podium over the bye week and apologize to this fanbase for the Geno contract.

Only halfway joking.

ToastPatterson wrote: Sat Oct 18, 2025 10:56 am Well-he never would have brought Gruden back. Hue Jackson probably would not have lasted very long.

That is an interesting question. I think it would have come down to who he replaced Hue Jackson with.
Bob Wylie. After Flores, Al would alternate offensive playcallers with OL coaches as HC:

Shanahan: Playcaller
Shell 1.0: OL coach
White: Playcaller
Bugel: OL coach
Gruden 1.0: Playcaller
Callahan: OL coach
Turner: Playcaller
Shell 2.0: OL coach
Kiffin: Playcaller
Cable: OL coach
Jackson: Playcaller

Wylie, as the current OL coach, would have been the next man up.

Interesting tidbit though I do not believe that was by design.
