Rat Jr can coach in the regular season by he can’t win a SB ring.

Didn't Darnold have a year in the SF system?GoodTimeCharlie wrote: Thu Oct 02, 2025 5:55 pm Woof. Add wholey unfunny to your laundry-list of winning personality traits.
SF is the polar opposite of us when it comes to QB. Coaxing and Coaching decent to excellent QB play out of Jones, Purdy, Jimmy G, Garcia, Smith, Kaep. Where as we cause every QB to abandon every last semblance of skill for the position.
Even when we do get a QB with all the necessary tools, he ends up being the biggest coward to ever play in the NFL.

Well he certainly choked the Falcons ring away with an absolutely horrendous series of calls late. I’d still take him in a heartbeat.RaiderandBulldog wrote: Thu Oct 02, 2025 8:43 pm Rat Jr can coach in the regular season by he can’t win a SB ring.

He blew it twice against KC and once against the Rams in the NFC title game.Jeevo wrote: Thu Oct 02, 2025 8:44 pm Well he certainly choked the Falcons ring away with an absolutely horrendous series of calls late. I’d still take him in a heartbeat.

Both teams seem to possess something that I don’t see from the Raiders, and that’s real belief.
49ers are injured as anybody and yet believed a gritty performance could get the job done. Even when the Rams tied it up and the momentum had swung, they didn’t let the wheels come off, and won.
Rams lost the game but when down 20-7 in the 2nd half, you could still see the belief in their eyes and their play calling. They played with urgency and aggression because they believed they could come back, and they did. Stafford and McVay were full throttle and full confidence, even after a rough start. They didn’t look flustered whatsoever.
We just don’t play that way as of now.

Not impressed at all with Mac Jones but he certainly looks to be playing better than Geno. There’s quite a few players we could have chosen who were younger, cheaper and wouldn’t have cost draft capital. For the third year in a row we chose the worst possible available QB.ALLRAIDERWORLD21 wrote: Thu Oct 02, 2025 7:25 pm Am I the only thinking Mac Jones could have ran the Raider offense better than Geno..- These users gave a High Five to the author Corleone for the post (total 2):

That's fine but even with all the injuries to his team they're still performing. And at the very least he has his teams in position to win something that matters. They used to say Andy Reid choked in the big games tooRaiderandBulldog wrote: Thu Oct 02, 2025 8:46 pm He blew it twice against KC and once against the Rams in the NfC title game.
I just fail to see how a Raider fan could openly criticize a hc for choking when this team continually wind 4 games a year

The key is to throw the ball to your own team. This Raider team would look a lot better and have at least 1 more win had they done that.

I have this thought every day, especially about the draft capital.Corleone wrote: Fri Oct 03, 2025 12:30 am Not impressed at all with Mac Jones but he certainly looks to be playing better than Geno. Note to my stalker: yes, I still think our draft wasn't optimal, but I still prefer more draft picks over fewer.

Shanahan is a top 5 NFL offensive coach. He got to a Super Bowl with a QB that was barely functional as a Raider. The Raiders could have added any of Mac Jones, Danny Dimes, Darnold and they would all look worse under Kelly and this garbage offensive line. If anything AOC has actually functioned better than Garoppolo, Minshew, and Smith which makes me wonder what he would look like on a good team coached by a QB whisperer. Certainly not all pro but probably not far off how Jones looked last night. The Raiders really need to sort out the offensive line and play calling as it’s clear it’s making all quarterbacks the Raiders bring in look worse than they were previously.Corleone wrote: Fri Oct 03, 2025 12:30 am Not impressed at all with Mac Jones but he certainly looks to be playing better than Geno. If so I would concur;)heavyD wrote: Fri Oct 03, 2025 9:10 am Shanahan is a top 5 NFL offensive coach. He got to a Super Bowl with a QB that was barely functional as a Raider.
