So the first couple of the months of the new season will be interesting when the media is anointing him as the best QB in the NFC.
The reality is he had to go to an extremely favorable setup to do so. Not the least of all a broken down Brady retiring (I”lol believe it when I don’t see him on opening day.)
Add to this the NFC South is a mess so hardly any competition there.
Add to this he’s in a dome, we know how he does outside in cold weather.
Add to this his winning percentage vs teams with winning records.
Etc.
So even if he does somehow light it up, what does it prove? It’s not really a good comparison IMO because like here so many things had to be in place for him to succeed.
I fully expect the first time he completes a pass in mini camp for the gushing to begin let alone in the season.
The bigger issue for Carr and his fans is g what if he succeeds, but what if he doesn’t. What happens to them if he plays as he did here or worse?
I don’t think too many have thought that out.

However, he's been around a while and has 20.7K twitter followers--those are not all Carstans. He writes about sports for the AP--he's not a Carr troll, but is an equal opportunity stat poster. Carstans just didn't like the numbers/stats he posted about Carr.

Offseason RFN contest - who is going to be the first to find the new identities of FlyBono and CarrKnight as they pop-up on Saints? Am I missing anyone?
I have a feeling that Attlya and a few others may already be working on it.

"Scoring in the red zone is all about coaching!"
"Now let's get him some weapons!"
God that sounds so painfully familiar.

God that sounds so painfully familiar.
I know right.
I’ve been reading shaking my head. They are posting videos about his highlights passing. No one is taking about his fumbling or INT issues.
He might do very well in their divisional games but we should tell them to get back to us mid November/early December.
No one doubts the Raiders have been a shot show for decades but that’s separate from
Carr’s issues as well know.
The Saints fans are going to get that sugar high, or are on it now and then come crashing down.
I've now read a couple of Saints forum threads about Carr, and in none of those did I see anyone say something like, "Um, don't any of you remember that we prevented this guy from scoring a single point against us just a few months ago?"
They'll find out though when they're losing games 17-9 to teams like Carolina.
There's also lots of talk about our crappy defenses, which is fair enough. But what they don't realize is that when our defenses did play well, we weren't blowing anyone out because we weren't putting up big points.
Whatever. They'll see.

And there's lots of talk about the Saints' defensive ranking but.......
