IMO the Texans already had a Carr that was a lemon. They are interested in another lemon. David admitted he didn't put in the work so they won't want to risk another low character Carr.
Surfing around team's boards who "might" be interested in Carr, I learned Dolphins fans are much smarter than Jets fans. "Don't want him". "Doesn't have 'IT'". Just an observation interesting only to myself, I'm sure.
I don't think Stidham will be the answer but I'm pretty sure, after seeing him only twice, that he takes that lane and gets out of there.
Agreed, but question. Why is everyone saying "Stidham isn't the answer?" All these QBs on the market aren't thought to be "the answer" and are described as bridge QBs. My question is why can't Stiddy be a bridge QB? He is going into year #5.
Are we supposed to drop the mic on a quote that is now 3 NFL seasons old? Cmon man, that's taking reaching to a new level. Maxx hadn't even gotten sober when he said that.
Ooooooooh, he thinks he's slick!!!
That quote was wearing acid washed jeans.

A self mic drop? Oh man. I’m surprised that doesn’t embarrass the hell out of you. Or maybe I’m surprised that I’m surprised.
On the bright side, you’ll have a whole new team to root for soon.
And on another bright side, no one will ever, not for a minute of your life, not one single human being, will ever accuse you of toxic masculinity.

Your question is precisely why the Raiders should have benched Carr and started Stidham 6 or 7 weeks ago, so his play for 5 or 6 games could be evaluated.
I'm reminded of certain other posters using Jared Cook's receiving TDs as "proof" that Cook wasn't any good.
Was it the same guy who said the NFL rushing champ wasn't the RB for Carr?

I’m convinced TwoOutRally is either a blood relative to the Carr family or friends with one in the Carr family. The cult like attachment is creepy

How do you think those guys got to be "competent bridges", by sitting on the bench? I believe they got an opportunity to play when the guy in front of them was unavailable, so what's the difference? Tyrod Taylor plays this role a few games each year and his performance doesn't matter much...because he is a bridge QB. Do you want your bridge QB losing you draft slots?

So now a 26 year old with moxy and experience in the system should be ignored for bridge QB lifers? Sorry, that doesn't make sense to me. I saw Brissett have multiple chances to take the helm, chances that most young back ups don't get and he did nothing with it. Give the reps to Stiddy.
no but I want my competent back up to be a back up. After the bridge is gone, you still need your back up
You are acting like back ups and bridges are mutually exclusive. The guys you mentioned are in fact back ups just like Stiddy, only we have a much better account of their ceilings. Your philosophy is why Mike Glennon is still padding his pockets.
