Most 4th quarter comebacks ever!
Thankfully family was over tonight so I didn't have to stew about this one.
When we needed him to make a play, he failed to make a play. When the defense handed him good field position, he turned the ball right back over on the next play. When he a wide open receiver in the closing moments he threw up a duck.
The f[raiders_icon]cking guy just doesn't make it happen. Pittsburgh stacked the box and dared Carr to beat them. Once again, he wasn't up to the task.
If he's back, I'm out... unless he signs a contract to play for $5 million on a year by year basis. That's it. If he gets extended, I have better things to do than waste one more day watching this guy middle his way into another year as a Raider.
Is he calling out Carr or someone else in the beginning? I can't tell.
We/He couldn't run the ball tonight and he's beat up so he needs somebody to step up and help win the game. He can't do it all by himself.
That somebody...
Threw 3 interceptions
Missed wildly on multiple throws
Had 4-5 stalled drives
Multiple 3 and outs
He's definitely calling out Carr.

I used to give Carr the benefit of the doubt.
Now from here on, he’ll get the doubt of the benefit from me.
His play tonight was inexcusably awful and any Carr supporter should feel let down by this guy that a lot of us have stuck our neck out for. The train stops here - he needs to play better or be replaced. I’ll let the professionals figure it out, whether that means releasing him, or making him a lame duck while a freshly drafted QB lurks in his shadow. I don’t care, I’m just tired of losing.

If Carr had any sense of decency he’d announce his retirement. And people thought we left the “Black Hole” in Oakland. Worst Raider Ever.

He will have to retire, be bounced around other teams or become a journeyman QB. I think he should have retired last season.

He could sell it as McDaniels offense is to complicated blah, blah blah and make any excuse up to save his job. Look at Indy that last couple of years and the QB's they took on. Not saying Reich was this way but you see cast offs land all the time elsewhere. Colts, Jets, Giants, New Orleans, Carolina, Arizona, Washington could all come into play...

It's embarrassing as a franchise that they let this guy hang around for 9 years and put his name up there in front of all the Raider greats with his meaningless stats.
I don't care who they bring in at this point, you can convince me of anyone as long as it's not him.

I don't think anyone in their right mind will be wishing to see more of Carr next season. It would be a huge mistake to keep him on for yet another year to go out and do the same thing he has done for the past 9....under perform. And oh, by the way, the historic way of losing the Raiders found....it is because of the performance of the QB and the offense. Carr AND McDaniels need to go. Carr will be the first to be shown the door, thankfully. My guess is McDaniels will be shown the door by the end of next season. He is a horrible Head Coach and another bust hire by Mark Davis.
Per Dubow:
Derek Carr after halftime in 5 games #Raiders led by 7+ at the half: 39 for 80 for 373 yards, 2 TDs, 4 INTs and a 49.6 passer rating.

Is it time to change the name back to "The ABC Thread"?
