https://twitter.com/JoshDubowAP/status/ ... gr%5Etweet
That's 2 this year that he credit for that he had nothing to do with...handing the ball off to Jacobs and the defense with a walkoff

https://twitter.com/JoshDubowAP/status/ ... gr%5Etweet
Derek Carr had a bad game but did score a offensive TD in the last 32 seconds. There are no stats for defensive comeback wins but Jones more than deserves the game ball.

Would you be comfortable having DC as the backup if we drafted our future QB this draft.?

This Pats game I think was the end of the rope for me with Carr. Honestly i can’t even say he’s ”at least average” anymore.
Beyond the god awful pocket awareness where he’ll throw it into the stands with no pressure one play… and then not move for 5 seconds and take a sack the next….
Beyond the obliviousness to the game situation where he’ll throw bombs on 3rd and short… or take 3 shots in a row on a game tying drive and put us in 4th and 10.
Beyond the accuracy that has suddenly fallen off a cliff… or the bipolar usage of Adams where he won’t throw to anyone else for a while and then refuses to look his way for a while…
There’s just no heart to be found with him anymore. There’s no effort to even try to make a play. There’s just a guy totally content to throw it out of bounds every time he has to scramble.
At least for me - I’m at the point where I don’t think there’s much to lose. The “technical ability” that’s kind of been how you rationalize sticking with him isn’t there anymore and whatever amount of it that is there… I think could be more than compensated for with a guy that plays with some heart.

I've seen 2 camps when it comes to DC....
Love him or hate him.
Those that hate... see no redeeming value.
Let me ask this another way to try and understand your thinking.....
Of all non starting QB's....
Where would you rank DC when it comes to backups? I've never seen this question probed. If DC is dispatched and DC wants to continue his NFL career...how does he stack up as a backup....
Or.....of the other 31 teams .....which team would DC be better at starting for?
I'm just looking for opinions.....
Legit question....because if the Raiders move on from DC and cut him......

The years he had higher completion percentages was a result of him not throwing into tight windows. Even then, his ball placement is largely ass.
