I agree. As far as teams trading for Carr i just don’t see many options. That’s a big contract when QB needy teams could just draft one this year.
Houston will probably take Young.
Carolina probably Stroud or another rook.
San Fran already has Purdy and Lance.
Jets? I don’t know.Maybe.See how Wilson does Sunday, but they seem to like White.
The main issue is that teams that may go ver QB would probably prefer a cheaper Garoppolo.
Unfortunately,I think we just cut him and get nothing.
Yep. Sometimes you just have to take the L and move on. Two years ago, we could've gotten a couple of high picks for him (1st and a 2nd or maybe even better), but that time has passed. So f[raiders_icon]ck it; let the 10 year rookie go and move forward.

Bucs might be in play. Possibly ATL, NE, or Steelers. The problem with trading Carr is the contract and how he’s guaranteed money days after the SB.
You’ll notice I said “Carr would love to be back in The Bay”. Meaning Carr would like to be there and NOT the Niners want him.
The Niners have ended up in a mess with their QB situation. No draft picks and an undeveloped QB. At least they tried to get a QB to get them over the hump. They can’t depend on Jimmy as that’s how they lost the SB.
But Jimmy did get them there. Carr has done diddly. The 9ers would be simply handicapping their cap for no reason with Carr and would get nothing more out of the QB position. Well, they would get more fumbles and fewer TDs in the red zone, but outside of that, not much.

Even in the James Jones/cowherd convo. They claimed Carr is good. They claimed 10 teams would trade for him right now. 10. Not 20-25. 10. So that means I’m their heads roughly 22 teams believe they are in a better position to either get one or have one than Carr. This doesn’t mean they think they’re guy is necessarily better but money/production is

Remember how Mayock was considered a draft guru in media circles? Then well, you saw the drafts.
Talking heads throw a lot of shit at the wall hoping some of it will stick. And some does, but a lot of it does not.
And them stating that there are 10 teams that would trade for Carr ... well, that is about as rubbery as shit gets.

I think Carr is tradeable. Carson Wentz has been awful and has been traded twice, with big cap numbers, despite that.

Any of them might be interested in taking him.
The bolded goes nicely with his other quote:

I take it all in, ‘Yes, sir, whatever you want.’ But at the same time, I’m going to continue to play the game how I think it’s best for our team.”
For those that don’t know Carr made this statement after being asked why he checked down a Hail Mary call in which he refused to execute but people like to blame the coaches for Carr not executing…

How many opportunities to share his idea were there over the years?
