The “who” in not knowing football, are the Carrs’. The whole f[raiders_icon]cking family, and their legion of brain-dead sycophants.
In this situation, if Carr had any kind of a pocket presence and clue he slides to his right to try and escape the pocket and if gets dragged down trying it then so be it. Take the 3 and go into the half.

You don't allow yourself to make that throw with pocket collapsing on you like that, it was obvious he had to move off his spot to get a throw off or just go down.

Even if he had a clean pocket, why in the hell would you try to thread the needle into an area with 4 rams defenders, it was a moronic decision to go there regardless.

The only reason he let that ball go was because he was trying to avoid getting hit, period
Thread the needle? That looked more like throwing a piece of particle board into a large refuse dumpster.

Just sayin.

Aren't you going to be surprised at the ending.

Almost there, clock is ticking...

I don't know if Carr will be gone or will be back for his 10 year Anniversery as the starting Raiders QB.

I was expecting a can we trade Paul Whelen for Derek Carr trade. I am a little disappointed, lol.
Carr is going to be our QB next year, best to make peace with it sooner rather than later.

Is what it is.
Is he going to outlast another coach?

Every year the closet Carr lovers write "he'll be back next year".
But it's not 2017. Carr is older now and whatever QB skills he had deteriorated to where it's become obvious that playing the role of a starting NFL QB is too much for him. I am confident that Mark Davis, Zig, McD et al. are planning to cut him following this season.

Are we ever gonna talk about his 20 Wonderlich? I'm only halfway joking. No, the Wonderlich isn't the be all end all, but why does a guy who grew up in a dedicated football family with all kinds of socioeconomic resources, who didn't wild out in college and was in fact married score so low? The average score for QBs is 24. You know who hit that benchmark? JaMarcus Russell. When you combine Carr's Wonderlich score with the numerous head scratching behaviors on the field and at the podium, what exactly have we been dealing with for the past 9 years?
