The only thing that can happen vs a 4 man rush with 7 in coverage is a sack, 2 yard scramble or pick city? We've decoded the perfect defense apparently. I guess it would work better if the offense had an elite WR or a decent QB?
Yes, that actually is the perfect defense if you actually get to the QB with 4 men. While you’re up here trying to be funny, this is exactly how the undefeated patriots loss against the giants. 4 man effective rush to the QB leaves nowhere to go if you’re not a special athlete at QB. Carr is not Lamar Jackson.

no offense but that is utter bullshit and we all know it.
Oh and there is no perfect defense.

Sure the Raiders suck, the defense is bad, you name it. But I agree 100% with your statement.

Oh and there is no perfect defense.
We’re talking about the play where the line held up fairly well then he got sacked right?
I don’t know, maybe he should throw it away? I’ve see other QBs do that to avoid a sack…

Eisen is clearly blaming top brass and saying it's not Carr's fault. WE have shattered him. He eludes to Carr being a great QB and none of this is his fault.
The gauntlet has been thrown down!!! If this isn't motivation for McD/Z to turn this team around next year nothing is.

I don’t know, maybe he should throw it away? I’ve see other QBs do that to avoid a sack…
yes, the play where he had two routes out of the way of that late push by the DL and he chose to go forward left. Had he moved right and forward around the three second mark and stepped up in the pocket about one yard, he had a gap to get one last option to throw the ball. His Oline was forcing the defender high out of that line toward him and that gap was there. I, personally, think throwing the ball toward one of his receivers on or near the sidelines where only the receiver might have a chance at it is the best option. Low chance of success but better than other options.
But then again, this was the perfect defense.

I love Twitter for the info and breaking news. It’s great.
One bad thing is even though you’re not following someone their stuff pops up.
I’m so tired of the Carr defenders.
Another bad thing about Twitter is if you make an anti-Carr comment without cussing or threatening you get called names by internet tough guys. That part sucks.
One of this forums annoying posters is on there and his shtick is the same there.Name calling, emojis, bad mouthing our forum.

Carr most assuredly had trepidation regarding being in the pocket coming into the league, after watching David’s career get destroyed in Houston .
After the broken leg at the end of 2016, it seems that he suffers from some PTSD, and plays accordingly.
There have been a number of games where he has threaded the needle from like 20-40 yards, in the past, putting on a hell of a show. But things have to be more or less perfect, with very little threat around him.
I think that’s why he seems to do so well with the quick snap, fast developing stuff. Like ripping off the bandaid, instead of pulling slowly, where he freezes up.
I don’t think it’s fixable.

https://twitter.com/DCarr75/status/1592 ... WwZKwJ1WuA
I think we broke Carr with our underwhelming ability to send him positive vibes on this forum. If you people would only take a step back, you would see it is our fault.
Yes, that's the ticket.
