I've had a gutful of this guys 'leadership'. Get rid of him already.

I fully expect Carr to announce his retirement after the Super Bowl when we privately tell him we're letting him go before his 2023 salary guarantee kicks in.

As much as I hope so? I have a sneaking suspicion that he will be back in 2023, or the next HC will say "we can build around Derek" at the behest of Davis.
Lose, lose all around.

He will refuse any trade, likely his heart hasn’t been in football anyway and this gives him a saving face way of walking away.

One that you need to have a very good offensive line and very good defense to be average or slightly above average. No good as far as sniffing a SB, though.

This is on Mark Davis….what we think doesn’t matter.
As I said before, Carr is a snake oil salesman. A glad hander. He looks for sentiment.
What he can’t do on the field, he makes it up with being a nice guy and swearing he wants to be a Raider for life. That goes a long way when you have stunk for 30+ years. It goes further when there is so much bad QBing in the league over the last decade.
My guess is Mark enjoys the sentiment as well and doesn’t want to do this without Carr. Apparently coaching up Carr was a big deal for him in bringing in McDaniels.

Yes, it's over.
We cannot win this way. Giving so much money to a guy that we literally could get the same if not better production from someone earning much less.
He has so many flaws in his game that it's a joke. Nothing ever improves with this guy. It's like he doesn't work at all on improving his weaknesses and that is straight up taking the piss out of the fanbase.
I literally just do not want to see him continue as the QB of this team. I've had enough of it.

The answer is to look at the Seahawks. Everybody said it was Wilson, not the players around him.
Geno Smith is lighting up the scoreboard with those players who were around Wilson.
It's the players, stupid! Seahawks skill players much better than Raiders skill players. Lions skill players much better than Raiders skill players.
Imagine having players who can get open behind the LBs.
Imagine having HBs and WRs who can get the ball behind the LOS and go 80 yards for a quick TD.
Raiders fans can't imagine it. Because Raiders haven't had good skill players around the QB since 2002.

Yup, this is done.
Supported the guy from the off and he helped stabilise the franchise having carried us through some really shitty times which I'm appreciative of (and I'm sure we all will look back with a level of respect in 10 years), but we're on a downward trend again now despite having the best O that he's had since he joined us.
Time to give the team a jolt. Keep our weapons and give a rookie with some real moxy an opportunity to take us to that next level.
