Edit: Here ya go Fly:
Here’s a quote from The Athletic from Thayer Munford Jr: (take it as you want, I read he’s pointing at Carr)
https://theathletic.com/3745314/2022/10 ... nfl/?amp=1
Without getting into specifics, rookie right tackle Thayer Munford Jr. said the offensive line wasn’t to blame.
“We was doing our part,” said Munford Jr., who replaced Jermaine Eluemunor at right tackle in the second quarter. “I’m not really here to point fingers at all. It’s just a lot that goes into it.”
There’s no argument the Raiders played well up front, but Munford is correct that it wasn’t all on them. Carr missed some throws even when he had time. For example, there was no reason for him to force the hopeless attempt toward a well-covered Renfrow that was picked off by Tyrann Mathieu in the second quarter. Carr finished completing just 57.7 percent of his passes for 101 yards while averaging merely 3.9 yards per attempt. Whether the blocking held up, the passing offense couldn’t do anything.
But wait there’s more:
Adams, whose one catch and 3 yards were his fewest in a game since 2015, said the Saints didn’t do anything unexpected in pass coverage.
“Nothing on the back end,” Adams said. “It was nothing that surprised anybody I wouldn’t say. It was just poor execution.”

Just remembered Carr fumbled again in self preservation but was lucky to recover it

Anyway, now that it appears that only organizational batshit insanity will keep Carr here following this season, here's a question (for everyone):
WHEN DID YOU FIRST BECOME CONVINCED CARR WAS NOT CAPABLE OF LEADING THIS TEAM TO A CHAMPIONSHIP?
For me it was the final game of the 2018 season when we lost to KC 35-3. Only during brief periods of 2-3 game stretches have I ever thought differently. I'm willing to approach the kool-aid cooler, but I haven't been drinking from it outright since the beginning of the 2018 season. I'd hoped 2017 was an anomaly, but by the end of the year it was clear Carr was fool's gold.

2017 I thought was an anomaly
2018 he broke my heart
2019-present I’m numb until we replace him

The drag him with you hope was strangled slowly culminating in Gruden's second season with the Jekyll and Hyde way of life and just never fixing longstanding areas for improvement for a decade taking a toll even on that thin limb to the point I consider him toxic to the possibility of bringing home hardware.
He is just too hit and miss with limited upside. Dude can't score in the endzone, can't move even in the pocket, and doesn't see the field. It is a fool's errand.

Derek already working on 'making sure we draft outside of the top 10' after game 7 is not the result I wanted to see.
He has not said it yet, but that is his reaction everytime the team fails like this. Winning, losing, who cares - getting paid - that is all that matters to this kid.
Well, I guess we already saw his 'elite early season games' this year, they were just disguised as game manager games. We are already onto second half of the season Carr a game early and it will only get worse from here. Just a warning.
