Thought he could do a lot of good with his money. I don't blame him get what you can. Team friendly deals and hometown discounts live mostly in the mind if fans. No way he takes less than 30 mil a season IMO. Probably closer to 35.

QBs tend to be expensive. It’s fair to use the QB market to benchmark value vs production, but when evaluating the actual salary none of the QB numbers are cheap, even by NFL standards. A bridge starter can make as much as $12-15m a year; that’s about the same amount you’d pay for the very best G.

Carr’s salary may be a fair price when considered against other QB contracts, but $20m is $20m. That’s 10% of the salary cap no matter how many QBs are being paid more. It’s true that if we could continue to pay him at $20m, we’d be able to afford more contributors than a team that’s paying more for their guy than we are for Carr. And that’s a real advantage. But at the end of the day, a QBs contract is weighty. He needs to be carrying his proportionate share of the load, or more.

I can't stress this enough, being a Raiders fans is not for the faint of heart. You got to take whatever Mark Davis gives you. It may be 4-12 or maybe 12-4 but we will never win champion under Davis. For those who have been fans for 40-50 years, be grateful you were alive to see Raiders wins a Superbowl. If you want to win a championship now, go be a Chiefs fan.

Chance's re you are correct the Raiders won't won another Super Bowl. Thing have to allign perfectly for a season to win it. Teams still have never won a Super Bowl. It isn't easy. It isn't money either because Jones hasn't won one after free agency started. If it were only money, the Cowboys would have a bunch Because jones would spend anything to get another one.
