It is frustrating arguing with someone who does not have knowledge. The only people stating that Carr is comparable to Gannon are those that have not seen Gannon play and cherry pick a stat or two. I don't know if it is a generational thing or what but I don't understand why people who are completely unfamiliar with a player feel like they have the wherewithal to make astute comparisons about that player. It appears a couple of stats are all they need to feel like they have all the evidence they need.
At this point I find it hard to believe they've seen Carr play much either, like select highlights on occasion and Googling stats.
A lot of this seems like football and the Raiders are just a proxy for something else with some guys.
The outright disdain for everyone that has contributed to this franchise over the decades but this fella is clear as day as is the vibe that the whole thing can go to hell as long as 4 looks good or has excuses why he didn't no matter how tenuous or tedious.

After sundays game the mood here will be so polar opposite and extreme for both sides. It’s actually kinda funny how one game can have us feeling optimistic, or a feeling of blowing it all up.
What happened to this Derek?
https://media3.giphy.com/media/3o7TKVgD ... y.gif&ct=g
He shows up a couple of times a season like a shut-in of an uncle who everyone worries about until he walks through the door unexpectedly at Thanksgiving and is the life of the party. Everyone tells him, "You need to come around more. We miss you." He promises to make it to Christmas dinner, but no-shows, and then everyone goes back to wondering about him again.

I'd like to see Derek pick up a 1st down or two on 3rd & long with his scrambling ability tomorrow. He looked immune to pain after that tackle.

By that time it's too late. When two teams have no playoff experience, you take the home team. Shitty home record or not.

Our oline is like me me 6'6 310 punching you in the face every time you try to talk and posters asking why can't you talk?
Not you per say

Carr & the team have had one less excuse off the board as they haven’t talk about this game & it big stakes much this week due to the Harbaugh rumour meaning less pressure thrown at them by the media
Carr usually folds in the high stakes when it matters pressure games now he has had the week off from the media questioning his ability in these type of games hopefully he is relaxed & not feeling it
After recent performance Carr owes us one of his elite performances got to add in you’d think he’d want to go out & throw caution to the wind leaving it all on the field with a likely new HC to impress on the horizon
