imagine if carr did not lead the league in fumbles, or was not the worst top 10 QB in touchdowns....imagine all the people, living in life in peace....you may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one. I hope someday you join us and the world will live as one.

We haven't gotten an interception since the Denver game in week 6.

Imagine if our secondary could catch the passes that hit their hands.

I'm sitting in disbelief that someone had the gall to compare Carr to Rodgers.

Everyday all day. We have a defense that can't create turnovers, 13 on the year. The only team with less are the Jaguars. When Carr wins a game, it isn't good enough. When we get blown out, it's all carr's fault.
He takes a sack, he called a pussy. He leading the league in downfield throws, it isn't good enough. Drop balls, Carr's fault.
Elite QB's all have one thing in common. They have playmakers on offense. Players that can score from anywhere, anytime. We don't have that. We dont have a Jamaar Chase or Tyreke Hill or Devonte Adams. We have Zay Jones and Brian Edwards. They are not game breakers that can turn nothing into something.
Fans piss and moan when Carr throws two yard short of the sticks. Every Qb in this league does that, the Receivers make the two yards. When the receivers don't do it and drop the ball. Teams punt. How is that a hard to see? Do you not watch the games and see these things happening. Or do you hate Carr so much it doesn't matter what he does.

I posted two stats on Carr and Carr alone, not having to do with wins or losses and you went defense in your response
If you cannot address the stats presented, and use an entirely different line of thought to react, that is called deflecting.
not too hard to understand.

I'd rather have Carr than any other middling vet QB in the league as long as he'll take a pay cut; say down to $10 million a year. His point production doesn't justify any more than that.
Another year, another 20 or so TD passes. Last season was an anomaly (and not even a huge anomaly); this year and the three prior to 2020 were the true indicator. And here we are again, but his interception numbers are up. Carr has 21 TDs and 14 ints ("21/14").
Taylor Heineke: 20/15
Matt Ryan: 19/11
Mac Jones: 21/12
Roethlisberger: 21/9
Garoppolo: 19/10
Bridgewater: 18/7
Ryan and Roethlisberger are washed. The rest are significantly cheaper than Carr.
What Carr appears to have over the above (and abbreviated list) is the two minute drill and yardage between the 20s; and those can be important things. But they're not enough to be a serious contender in the AFCW. They're numbers that say, "Things could be worse, so we should keep him." I say that for the same point production, we could find someone for less than half the price and go about building a team with a defense that can stand up to KC and the Chargers. If we can do that, we can beat any offense in the NFL.

I completely agree if Carr takes a paycut relative to the rest of the league, I think you could theoretically build a good enough team around him. As the top cap earner on your roster, I don't think he's good enough to get the job done by making those around him better

Since we are on the topic on imagination, imagine the Raiders make playoffs and Derek Carr get a 5 year deal.

[/quote]5 years at $50 million? Sure!
