Saw Tim Keenan on Sunday, must have made enough of an impression to get a few more callups from the Practice Squad.

It shocked me to actually see JJ on the field getting snaps instead of being a scratchraiderjohn wrote: Tue Oct 27, 2026 1:29 pm Saw Tim Keenan on Sunday, must have made enough of an impression to get a few more callups from the Practice Squad.

Laulu was not great and not a fit for the systemvtraider wrote: Tue Oct 27, 2026 1:29 pm Raiders Activate WR Dont’e Thornton Jr. from the Reserve/Injured List https://share.google/dY04LI8st14dOZOdX
Thornton is not great and not a fit for our QB
Lot of not greatness in these moves

I agree. Even though I think it would only be for football inflation needless I'm kind of thinking this is just to try and trade himAttyla wrote: Tue Oct 27, 2026 1:40 pm Laulu was not great and not a fit for the system

Too many tweeners at the position and we already have a superior version in Tonka. I liked Laulu over Butler personally though.

Personally, if Thornton could live up to his potential/physical attributes it would be great. Just don't see it as likely.

Simmons is very disruptive in both the run and passing game, but the dead money would kill the Titans. I know you were kidding and I would love to have him even at 29 years of age, but his contract makes him hard to move. And Saleh loves his defensive playerspfish57 wrote: Tue Oct 27, 2026 3:01 pm Spy must be making room for a block buster trade for Jeffery Simmons;)

Wow apparently he is movable...Bears gave up a pretty big haul & the Titans lost their only descent player lolAttyla wrote: Wed Oct 28, 2026 9:59 am Simmons is very disruptive in both the run and passing game, but the dead money would kill the Titans. I said it would be hard. Not impossible. Titans take a pretty big cap hit and Saleh lost his best defender.pfish57 wrote: Thu Oct 29, 2026 8:09 am Wow apparently he is movable...Bears gave up a pretty big haul & the Titans lost their only descent player lol
I admit, I am pretty surprised. Not only their best player but a real community favorite the year before they have their new stadium and a need to open those doors with a good season.

The Titans seem to be one of the worst run teams in football. Right up there with the LV Raiders - but that team is making progress. Last full season (2025) the Titans were dead last in attendance (as measured by percent of capacity) and their stadium is small.Attyla wrote: Thu Oct 29, 2026 8:13 am I said it would be hard.
