Their new FA running back has been carrying the team. Must keep him in check.

We definitely need Stukes back for this one. Shough worked IPM, Kermit will destroy him.
Interesting that this is the first time in history both Raiders and Chiefs start 3-0.

KC has returned to form on offense and with the exception of Indi, they held both Miami and Denver to 10 points.
I'm stoked we started 3-0, but those wins came against teams with a collective 1-8 record.
Long sustained drives that lead to TDs, not field goals, is the only chance we have of winning games.
Clearly we're improved and I don't think we're going to get the traditional stomping that KC gives us, but this one's gonna likely be our first L of the season.

I hope Washington gets 15 carries against the Chiefs, so we can finally kill this ridiculous narrative that's been brewing.
Raheim Sanders averages 5.5 yards a carry for the season. I guess he's better than Quinshon Judkins, who averages less ypc than Jeanty thus far.

What narrative? Some people want more carries for Washington. So? You want them to split it 50/50 or what? Jeanty is the #1 RB. Period.

The voices in his head disagree with you.

Maybe it is ridiculous but then again no one knows for sure unless you try, it's not that far out there.
Even if it is just a different look for the defense or more of a breather.
I don't think I've seen anyone suggest reverse #1RB and #2RB, just give more to #2 RB.
From what I've seen watching, I agree with this currently.
Could also show if the running problems we have are more blocking or runner???
We are currently 19th in overall yards and hold yourself 31rst in avg per carry.
Imo that is possibly are biggest team concern right now, overall running offense. This is supposed to be a cornerstone of the O.
Washington is currently double Jeanty's average.
Looking at others in that 15-20 carries the only one ahead of Washington is Kyle Monangai of Chicago and as a team they are killing it right now on the ground, they are the #1 running team, 40 yards ahead of #2 per game.

Much like the 3 victories, try to win the turnover battle. Hopefully if anything they can go on 10-14 play drives and keep em off the field. Just keep it close going into the 4th and who knows?

Jeanty is clearly hobbled and not at 100%. Despite that he's still a far better route runner than Washington, so I would absolutely like to see Washington get a few more early down reps to keep Jeanty fresh on 3rd down and in the red zone.
If Stukes can't go we need to give Porter some burn at safety in practice to see if he can play any better than Pola-Mao. I felt he would need to move to safety at the next level when he was coming out, and he can't possibly be as bad as Pola-Mao has been.

Kinda piggybacking off this but I mentioned in another thread how they are 3-0 despite not playing their best ball. Imagine what they could do if they establish the run game on a consistent basis like they want to.

The Dolphins gave the Chiefs a tough game. That was without Achane for more than half of it, their best player. The Raiders have beaten the Chiefs with lesser teams than the Raiders have now. I'm not gonna be fearful of the Chiefs because there's just no reason to be. This Raider team has a lot of talent & very good coaching. This 3-0 start should really help with amping up a home field advantage of sorts finally. Go dawg the ketchup & mustard bastards out

There is only one team playing their best ball in the league and that is SF. I would have said Bills to but they struggled yesterday. Seahawks lost. So overall that's good news for us, it is reasonable to think we can get better here as the season goes.

For sure. These next 4 are gonna show us what they're made of.
*Side note: Not that I took any of the first 3 opponents for granted but they're getting into the thick of things now*
