World Cup 2026

Yep, what the rest of the world calls football.

US? We have to win group D. If we don’t we’re likely facing Brazil in the next round assuming we’re the second qualifying team in the group stage.

We SHOULD beat Paraguay and Australia, Turkey is a much tougher match.

And assuming we do what we usually do (not make out it the group stage or lose the first game of the knock out round) I will fall back for rooting for in order:

1. Germany
2. England
3. Scotland

The rest of the world can suck my balls. We play football, they play kickball. And it is boring as hell.

That might be the best first half I’ve seen US National Team ever.

4-1 great opening round match.

North America won its first round play for the first time. I know, I know, there are 23 countries in North America, but the big three won their first round matches. Great start, and no, not boring if you grew up playing the game.

I did grow up playing the game; AYSO soccer. I was a left winger (always naturally left handed/footed).

Well there not much going on regarding the Raiders at this time; so it nice that the World Cup has started to fill that void….nice that the USA won last night; did not watch the game as it was a 1:30 am kickoff time; but did watch Canada play and that was a good game….

The first three game everyone plays right now in their division are ok to watch; but the real action start when the World Cup is in knockout stage….

Be massively great if the USA could get to the semifinals but I don’t think they will….

Not really sure how Canada, Mexico and USA are as a good team as they did not have play any World Cup games to get in the World Cup; as the host get in the competition automatically…I do think that Canada and Mexico probably would not have made it if they had to qualify….alway notice really good teams in World Cup tend to play it safe in the first three games….

They are saying that Spain or France will take World Cup, but I think the Germans might surprise some people…

Expanded field so they got in and won, that happens. Get there and see what you can do.

AYSO ends in middle school if I remember correctly. At least in my area, so you could join your school team. Maybe I am wrong, it has been ages. I know for me I went and played on my Jr High team, also a left wing. I enjoy the world cup, the rest of the world really gets up for it and I was in Brazil for the cup a few cycles ago, and they are crazy for the cup. It was fun seeing the win for me. I also got up for the girls way back in 1999, great team and played like fire.

Demolition by Germany 7-1.

Netherlands vs Japan was a very good game with a great second half with a 2-2 draw.
