2027 Loaded QB draft

Unread post by haji81872 »

Arch Manning
Brenden Sorsby?
Dante Moore?
CJ Carr?
LaNorris Selles?
John Mateer?
Nico Iamaleava?
Sam Leavitt?
Jordan Maiava?

Julian Sayin I think will stay another year at Ohio State.

There isn't a damn one them that will be better than Fernando except maybe Arch. There maybe more first round QB which is great for us so we can trade our pick and get bounty for it. I expect we will be top 12. However the morons who thought that we should traded our pick because of the loaded 2027 QB full of better talent are high as kites.

I don't believe that Arch is better than Fernando. His last name got him ridiculous hype before he was even in college. What I've seen, not impressed. CJ Carr looks better than him IMO. I would say Sam Leavitt looks better also. Fernando was 1000% the choice to make. If the Jets or Cardinals had the pick they would have taken him also. The Raiders finally got some great luck all around with Fernando available & having the #1 pick in a 4 team tie!!

Thankfully we finally won't have to worry about next year's QB draft class. Besides, predicting prospects now is truly hopeless speculation. Currently Arch Manning is a day three choice but he could break out huge and become a top 3 prospect, or he could play himself out of the draft entirely.

Again though, not our problem. Whatever our deficiencies are this year, we can finally finally finally focus on building the team around what is hopefully a good to great QB.

Manning may not even come out next year, his camp have hinted before that he will play out his full eligibility

I do hope the QB class next year is stacked and teams overdraft them in the first round. The Raiders are gonna need help with good prospects dropping to pick 32 (;

Kind of surprised he didn't hit the transfer portal, can you imagine him in Kiffin's offense ?

A lot of people thought that 26 QB draft was going to be very good. Remember a lot of mocks from a year ago with the likes of Nussmeier and Drew Allar going top 5 and Mendoza in the pick 10-20 range.

We just don't know how it's going to play out. Manning gets a lot of hype because of his surname but maybe doesn't even come out. Sellers looks like a hell of a prospect but let's see how he does. Dante Moore will be another one to watch, he'd have been a top 5 pick if he'd come out this year IMO.

Sorsby may have other things to be worried about right now than next years draft. I wonder how much this is going on with the kids getting all of this NIL money and not knowing how to handle it.

I've written about this in super fine detail to my friend group. I've found many an article stating how good this QB class was going to be, only for it not to be.

He may have wanted the continuity that helps with learning curve issues.

I’m hoping the 2027 draft is viewed as “The Greatest QB Draft ever”

Also don’t care if every single one is a bust.

What I do care about is teams fighting over 5-10 QBs at the top of the draft and some high quality starters falling to us. My expectations for next year are picking somewhere between 10-20, that would work to our advantage.

Now of course if we’re picking much later in the draft? So much the better.

I think he is over rated and we would not be talking about him if he had a different last name. I don't think he will come out next season (NIL). At this point in time, I do not think he would be drafted ahead of everyone.
