I'll say this, if the Raiders are able to draft him, the kid will have already unified this forum. Even the most ardent realists are in favor of the pick. Not sure if I have ever witnessed that, certainly not here nor the PSD discussion forum I used to frequent.

There was far from a consensus on Purple Drank. I remember wanting Megatron.

Thread title is a play on the Fernando Valenzuela sensation in the early 1980's.

Seems like we are and maybe he can be our guy for a quarter century or so, kinda like Rivers.

Also appears most are on board with losing out the rest of the season.

Hells Bells needs to go. Great song but we need a new direction. I might need to turn in my man card but I kind of like the ABBA song, not saying it's on my running play list, lol.

Fernando my ass. This dude could absolutely suck at the NFL level. I understand he "seems" to be the guy right now, but... has it ever worked out for us? Does anything ever work out for us?

Just have a solid draft... including whoever we pick at QB. Just take solid football players. Coaching is waaayyyyyy more important than who the f[raiders_icon]cking QB is. Until the coaching debacle is fixed, the QB doesn't really f[raiders_icon]cking matter.

The thing is.... he's only the no brainer pick THIS TIME... in this particular draft. That doesn't mean he won't suck. It just means he's the only choice in a very thin QB draft class.
